I ordered this to replace one, that I paid almost $150 for, that we had been using for so long that it LITERALLY fell apart. Lost one of the probe things, but it still worked. I even had to hot glue the actual device back to the collar and it still worked. It lasted a long time, but it was time for a new one! I have seen these newer ones that resemble electronic devices, and I liked them, so that's what I wanted. Found this one for $10 and I could not pass it up. I expected something OBVIOUSLY cheap, but that's not what I received. I love this thing. I love that the device has a large, bright screen that allows you to find your dog in the dark. I love that it has 3 different options. It has a sound option, a vibrate option and a "shock" option. For some reason, our dog hates this collar more than the first one. I've had to use the sound, and vibrate, options a couple of times and she listens immediately. With the old one, I'd have to repeatedly press the same options. This one does have a pretty heafty vibrate to it, and the sound is very loud. I love that I'm able to lock the buttons, switch to other collars and change the intensity of each option. I love that each option has its own button, even the light has its own button. I will say that the remote does feel cheap. It feels a lot cheaper than the collar itself does, but that's not a deal breaker. Remote seems to work perfectly fine. I can't comment on the durability or longevity of either the collar or remote, but they seem like they should hold up for a few years, at least. So far, so good. I like how it looks, I like the shape of the remote (feels good in the hand), I like all of the different options/settings/choices, I like that each option has its own button and the dog hates it. I think we've found a winner. 😂 If you're on the fence, just order it! I'll update my review if I have any issues within the next few weeks. ... show more

My dog is a bit of a barker, he would bark and any noises outside and people walking on the side walk constantly, and he would lose his mind at the doorbell or kids coming in the garage door. I got this and charged it up and tested the shock on all its settings, because if it hurts me i wouldn't put it on him (please do this for your dogs sake) The upper settings was to much for my medium-small dog, i set it at 6 or 7 and that is plenty ( it has 1-18). I use the vibrate function most of the time and if he didn't respond to it id advance to the shock, after just a week it was a remarkable difference. I don't even use the shock function hardly at all anymore and only occasionally have to use the vibrate if the doorbell rings, and its only when it startles him from sleep and he instinctually starts to bark. Really it has been a huge change, he is much more behaved and doesn't even bother barking at people walking by. I of course reinforce the good behavior with praise and pets when he does good. As for the other functions if he is bugging for food which he rarely does or licking on his butt or something like that I use the beep to redirect him and it works well. I don't use the light feature but I can see how in an outdoor setting at night it would be helpful in locating him. The battery on the collar lasted me 3 weeks on one charge and the remote 4 weeks. The rubber pieces that cover the prongs are nice as they let it still function but keep it soft at the contact point. All that said this works great, you have to be a good pet owner as well with it and train not just punish, and it will work fantastic. ... show more

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the Fluffee RC09's features and functionality. The collar is designed with 3 safety training modes, including warning sound, vibration, and static shock, providing me with the flexibility to train my boy effectively, with whichever mode I'll need based on the situation. It offers 8 levels of vibration and 18 levels of static shock intensity if you ever need it. The RC09 shocking collar is also waterproof and adjustable, which allows us some flexibility when it's wet outside. The collar length is adjustable, and it includes an LED display screen showing battery level, channels, and training modes. There is also a built-in pet tracking indicator, which is so nice, it gives me great peace of mind. If you have more than one dog, the collar offers 3 training channels, allowing someone to simultaneously train up to 3 dogs by connecting 3 receivers and switching between different channels. The remote's range is up to 2000 Ft. I haven't tested this out but if that's the case, it's added peace of mind in case my dog unexpectedly runs off. The safety lock does ensure some safety and comfort as it'll prevent accidental operations. Also, the silicone caps on the contact points protect my dog's skin, which help to keep him comfortable. The Fluffee RC09 training collar is also pretty quick to charge and has a long-lasting battery as well. The remote and receiver require only about 1.5-2 hours for a full charge. The product description says that one can get about 35 days of use on a single charge, with the receiver lasting for 15 days. Although I haven't tried it long enough to thoroughly test out this feature, this is great news as my last collar had to be charged up every day. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this dog-training collar.     • It’s working but was very hard to set up
We’ve never used one of these before and aren’t very tech savvy. Had to ask friends to help us because we couldn’t even figure out how to do things since the instructions were not understandable.. We were stuck from the get go because it told us to select a channel, but didn’t explain why or what a channel was used for. A friend translated for us. We eventually got it working, but the whole experience was tainted by the very poor instructions. ... show more
