Great collars, work fantastic, battery life is beyond my expectations. Super easy to train my dogs with them. These have been a game changer for my two dogs and I on the trails- hitting the beep allows me to ‘know’ where they are without looking up and losing my footing. I will confirm, just like the description says, the remotes are not waterproof. Yet I have managed to drop many of them in just about every type of water possible. I live in a household with 3 dogs. They tend to run off when more than one of them is outside. I lost one of my previous collars so I looked to see what my cheapest option for a remote collar is. I found this and decided to give it a try. I chose to buy two more immediately after so that all my dogs have one. I like that it runs on disposable batteries. The majority of the training collars I've used have their own rechargeable battery and often have barrel style jacks to charge them that can be easy to misplace. These use AAA batteries, I believe. I seldom have to shock my dogs as they all have worn training collars for a few years now. However, the beep is loud and lets them know it's time to come home, and the vibration is sort of a warning shot before administering a shock. The collar was easy to adjust, and fit my 3 dogs of various sizes, one a beagle, one a middle sized stray, and the last being a Pyrenees Australian Shepherd mix that is a bigger dog. For less than 10 dollars for a remote, and collar, it does fantastic. ... show more

This collar works well and really trains an animal on where to go that is safe. I like that this item is hand held and can be taken remotely. The button is easy to press and the overall shock isn't too much. Great product for any animal trainer. Two thumbs up!

We have a new toy poodle named Pookie from the breeder, and she has been quite anxious since she arrived at her new home. For several days, she kept barking non-stop, disrupting our other pets. We decided to try this bark control collar, and it’s been a game-changer. The collar has three modes: beep, vibration, and shock, which can be combined as needed. It's easy to program and very safe. And the battery lasts a long time on a single full charge. After trying the collar on Pookie, I found that just the vibration is effective in reminding her to stop barking, and she became much quieter. I hope our poodle has broken her barking habit and will soon no longer need to wear it. ... show more

    • Adjustable and easy to use
I ordered this dog shock collar from Amazon Vine, and it is lightweight, easy to use, it came with a remote, and it was pretty straightforward to set up. The collar itself is adjustable, it is fitting comfortably on my dog’s neck, which is good because I did not want it to be too tight or too loose. The entire setup is quite portable, so I didn’t have any issues carrying it around when I was training my dog inside the house and neither while I was training my dog in the backyard. The collar has four training modes: a standard beep, a vibration mode with levels from 1 to 9, a safe shock mode with adjustable range levels, and a shock boost mode which I believe is quite strong and I decided to don’t use this mode at all on my dog. It lets me customize the stimulation levels based on what my dog needs which was quite effective minimizing some annoying behaviors. I was initially concerned about using a shock collar, but knowing I had control over the intensity helped ease those worries, and once my dog started behaving better, I decided to be using only the beep and the vibration mode. This dog shock collar fits my big furry friend well. We've been using it for over a month now, and he's adapted to it seamlessly without any resistance. I've tried different modes, and the shock mode seems to be more effective for him. What I appreciate the most is the incredible range of the remote control, and it's waterproof, making it super convenient for outdoor use. I have had a variety of these dog shock collars and have concluded that the simpler the system the better. This one is battery operated with an on/off switch on the controller and an on/off button on the collar device. It will shock, vibrate, or make noise. It’s also got a lock on the controller so you don’t accidentally shock your dog. It also has the best direction pamphlet I’ve seen yet with tips on using this collar. It suggest using the noise option first and the moving onto the vibration if that doesn’t work. It’s been a great little collar and one of my favorites. I’m not sure yet how long the batteries will last but I’m sure quite a while. It’s a great little collar for my 12 lb papillon. The weight is okay for her but I wouldn’t want to use anything heavier. Collar don't fit small dogs at all. Pulled all the right and still did not fit a 20 pound terrier properly enough that it provided any kind of shock. The shock unit is too flat and big to make proper skin contact. Totally ineffective. I know it worked on me, but not at all on dog and the vibration just freaks her out. All in all, it's a fail for training a small dog under 40 pounds. ... show more
