My girls are incredibly aggressive chewers and annihilate standard rubber squeaky toys in mere minutes. This toy has both the rubber and and nylon at the ends. Nylon is much sturdier than the rubber but they have still chewed all of it up and there is only a bit of the head left. They've had it for about 6 weeks or so and it has taken this long for it to get chewed up. Truly, that is great for these two power chewers. It's also cute as H377! The dog doesn't care, but it's fun for me. One of the girls instantly claimed it as hers and has not shared with her sister not one time! I can't recommend this chewy toy enough for heavy chewers. My girls are not impressed with the all nylon toys and lose interest quickly. I believe with the rubber in the middle of the nylon ends, it really kept their interest and they did chew on the nylon parts. Anyway, this is a great product and stood up longer than I expected it to. If you have a power chewer that doesn't like the nylon, I bet they'll do quite well with this product. Nothing to dislike about this product! All three of our dogs love these toys. Our youngest is a blue nose pit bull, and he’s 7 months old, over 50 pounds and has quite a big strong jaw already. He has not been able to destroy this toy yet, and he’s destroyed several other toys already. He can just chew and chew on this one and it doesn’t come apart. It’s not too heavy, and our middle dog who is about 10-12 pounds can pick it up with some effort. Definitely worth it, and doesn’t smell like chemicals or anything like that. ... show more

I have a malinois/Shepherd mix and was looking for a toy he could chew but not destroy in a day. This has held up pretty well; been about 2 weeks and while the tail is smaller versus what it originally was, it’s still a hit.

The dog's only problem with these toys is choosing which one to play with. He loves them, and goes after them all the time. I'm impressed with the quality. He normally wrecks plush toys very quickly, but these are still going strong more than a month after he got them. They get played with daily, and he chooses to play with them even over his beloved tennis ball. If he eventually chews through them, I'll order them again. This alligator was well received by our 3 year old chewing machine. So far, after many revisits to it, he still enjoys chewing it and, as always, trying to get to the squeaker. My dog is one of the most aggressive chewers I've ever known and is the first to demolish most toys he's had. He loves to chew on things though so it's an absolute must that I find him durable toys. I can happily report that this is at the top of the list of toys that have survived (so far). He's had this toy for just over a month now and it's still in mostly great condition and hasn't completely fallen apart.     • Wasn't sure...but after a few days my dog loves it.
Initially my dog wasnt overly excited about this toy. It was hard and didn't throw and just sat there staring at him. However, I left it down for him and after a few days I would find him chewing it and carrying it around. He is usually a very aggressive chewer and often kills his toys within a few minutes or hours. I see him chewing on this often...but the toy shows no damage. It is rather heavy and clunky but he is a medium size dog and is able to manage it. ... show more

Got this indestructible doggy toy for my 70 pound female pit bull. The pictures provided are in less then 10 minutes of her "playing/chewing" on her new toy. Straight in the trash! Yes its made with food grade nylon BUT does not mean edible for pups! So much for "indestructible". In her defense it really does smell like bacon. The squeaker is REALLY hard to make noise with. My dog never made it squeak. I did a couple times, squeezing the inner most piece of the middle. And beware if you have any smaller animals around, because this toy is heavy to be a dog toy.
