    • Works great at making my corgi think if the bark is worth it

I have a corgi mix who I got the collar for because she would constantly bark at any thing, person, or sound within a 1.5 block radius. It only took her a few times for the collar to make positive changes (& only on the beep and vibration level), which was a welcomed treat. Being an intelligent breed, she did figure out what decibel level triggered the collar and so mumbled and grumbled instead of barking to voice her thoughts without setting off the collar (which I can live with). It’s been about a month and her barking has been lowered probably by 85-90%. Even when we take the bark collar off and put her normal collar on (for walks, etc.), she seems to have learned to not bark unless it’s really necessary. As my title says, she still will bark occasionally but now it’s really only if she deems the bark is worthy, and it’s not a string of them like it used to be. Haven’t used the shock feature yet (hasn’t been needed) but she responds well to the beep and vibration. Battery life is good; as advertised, I’d say. You can tell that English was not the first language of whoever wrote the instructions. It took trial and error to get it set correctly but has stopped unwanted barking. I even bought a second for our other dog. If they bark, it beeps and vibrates and that’s enough to stop them before they have to be shocked. ... show more

So we picked up a “hog dog” that was a stray. She’s literally would stand at our fence line and bark for hours on end without taking a breath in between. I bought this collar about a month ago, once I figured out how to work it and remove the rubber studs on the prongs it has been a dream. I only put it on her now as a warning. When we first got it I put it on her for a week straight while she was outside on the highest vibrating setting (still have never used the shock part) now I don’t even put it on her, I just show her the collar and she starts to behave. 10/10 recommend ... show more

I have 6 dogs and they have a huge grudge against one of our neighbors. The neighbors and dogs couldn't be outside at the same time without the dogs going nuts. I got these collars to try and get them to stop barking at the neighbors and it's worked wonders. I didn't even need to use the shock feature, vibrate worked to make them stop. My dogs no longer even need the collars unless we have guests over. Unnecessary barking has almost been eliminated and I'm so happy. ... show more

I love this bark collar! I have a pug mix that I love to death but drives me crazy with the barking. He will bark at anyone that passes and continue for 5 minutes after they are long gone. I have a training collar but would always forget the remote. The nice thing with this is I don't have to remember anything and it automatically corrects him. I only put it on him when we are outside or on walks and it seems to work really well. He has learned that if he doesn't bark and just whines or growls or barks in a soft low tone that it doesn't get after him. Annoying to me but not loud enough to disturb my neighbors. So all and all its been a huge help for me and I am very happy with this product! I tried to post pictures and a video but they refuse to load unfortunately. Technology. It is very simple to use. Has 4 power settings with each setting increasing in beeping and vibration with the last adding in shock. I mostly just use the third setting. It uses mostly beeping and vibration and seems to work well on him. It also has a mode button that has two settings. The first is the beeping and vibration only and the second uses the shock. I use the first one but for a very stubborn dog the second might be needed or if your dog has long hair and doesnt notice the vibration as well. ... show more

    • Decent collar but started to fall apart after first use!

This is a sleek barking collar and the vibration seems decent and appropriate. It also seems to have good battery life however, the unit is quite heavy around the neck. Also, the strap is extremely long. They tell you to cut to your desired length, but then the end frays. I think it would be much better to 1) have a little less strap, and 2) be able to loop and hold excess strap back with some kind of band or stopper, rather than having to cut it. Most importantly though, the little rubber/plastic plug that covers charging area literally broke off the first time I charged it, which was also the first time I used it, and for the life of me, I cannot get that plug back in to close up the space. Honestly, I wouldn't necessarily even care about that so much except that it means the unit is no longer water resistant. Wish I was happier with my purchase, but for these reasons I'm feeling let down with this unit. ... show more
