Pros: Easy to set lock combination, lightweight to carry, has extra mesh storage pocket inside Con: Broke within 3 months - In addition to being used as a storage lock box, this was also being used as a step stool to step up onto a lofted bed. After only 3 months, the top leather piece cracked on all four corners and then one of the sides buckled. The product description both says and shows a picture of a person standing on the ottoman and says that it can support a person who weighs up to 700 pounds. It was being used by someone who weighs 150 pounds and still broke. If you want it as a lockbox and file storage, I recommend. But not as an ottoman to stand on. ... show more

The doc safe thing, is obviously for honest people. you can quite easily get past this lock, but it is a nice feature. Needed something that was sit onable (its a word today). 200lb guy regularly uses it as a sitting spot. the lock for the doc safe. Total Hassle. You have to get the 2 zipper ends into the lock slides, and I am sure with practice it might get easier, but yeah, total hassle. Really the reason for the lock would be to keep like little hands out of it. otherwise, there is a zipper that goes around, meets in the middle at the lock and that is enough to keep it from tipping over and stuff falling out, that sort of thing. Have had it a few months, it gets quite a bit of use, and is holding up quite nicely and again, was quite perfect for our needs. I do reccommend. ... show more
