This ships flat - you will need to lift 125 lbs (57kg) to move it. You will need basic tools to assemble. An electric screwdriver or drill is helpful. The box arrived in tact and EVERY little piece was laid in Styrofoam and wrapped to prevent damage. NOT a scratch or nick. EVERY part was numbered correctly, and EVERY single hole lined up and was pre-drilled as needed. Assembly is time consuming - you are building every drawer and cabinet, but if you follow the directions, it goes together beautifully. Pay close attention to little details in the directions and you should have no trouble. It looks gorgeous assembled and offers PLENTY of space for all my teenagers hygiene necessities. The doors line up perfectly flush, the lights look beautiful in the glass cabinets and the mirror lights offer great exposure for makeup/skincare routines. A small sturdy stool fits best. It was a drag to assemble it and it depends when you start. It took me 2 days to finish this with my grandfather and I the bottom part and getting the pieces together were dragging the most but once you know where things go it gets easier. The lights worked everything works it’s just that the rubber black things for the doors two of them were broken so I took the end of a painting brush and it worked! the doors work everything it’s beautiful worth everything. I found it funny when the instructions said a congratulations. Overall it’s sturdy it’s pretty worth the money. :) ... show more

Purchased this for my teen daughter and she absolutely loves it. I'll start off by saying that the materials are just crap. But let's be honest, if you're not already expecting that with this price point, then you should just move on right now and go to Pottery Barn. That being said, I'm very impressed with this vanity and would highly recommend it. Love that it has several drawers for storage and the glass doors are a nice touch. There are lights inside the glass doors which I didn't know until I put it together and it looks so nice. We didn't like the gold tone of the hardware, so we switched it out with something we bought separately. My main reason for writing this review is to say that the assembly instructions are excellent. There are a LOT of pieces and it took a couple of hours to put it together, but the instructions are clear and thorough, with great pictures. I had no trouble assembling this myself (help of a second person is handy when putting the hutch on top of the desk). I did have a problem with two things: one of the drawers had a minor broken spot, and one of the hardware pieces wouldn't attach properly. I sent in a request for replacements thru amazon, and the company shipped me exactly what I needed. This took a few weeks but it wasn't an emergency so it was fine. Great purchase! The vanity desk is so pretty. While it’s not the easiest thing to assemble (it’s like a Lego set where you build part by part), I actually had a lot of fun putting it together with my boyfriend. This took quite a long time to assemble— somewhere in the vicinity of 6 hours. I recommend putting the TV on. The instructions were very clear and had a little cat mascot cheering you on throughout, which was cute! Some of the hardware didn’t really agree with the particle board and it was a fight to screw it in, but overall it went together pretty easily. I’m not a large woman and I managed it by myself, although having someone to help with putting the shelf on top of the surface would’ve been nice. It seems sturdy and feels very high quality for the price. There is LOTS of storage, I’d been afraid I wouldn’t be able to get everything to fit but I did with room to spare. The movable shelves in the glass front cabinets are a godsend for being able to fit tall items like hairspray. You’ll definitely want to download the app in order to change the cabinet LED colors, as the default is a bright red which looks a little fire and brimstone-ish. The app is called “LotusLanternX”— I note this because if you lose the little card included with the assembly instructions, there’s no other way to find it! I found that setting the color to R255 G074 B000 gave a nice warm yellow light. The app is a little clunky but gets the job done. Customer service was fantastic. They ship through fedex, and in my area the drivers aren’t great at their jobs. During the first delivery attempt it was sent to a still unknown mystery attempt and the whole thing was visibly busted in the proof of delivery photo, but the company sent me a new vanity completely free of charge with no hassle. I really appreciated it. Overall this is a 10/10 item for me and I highly recommend it!! ... show more

I bought this for my wife. I normally prefer to buy antique furniture off market place, but I couldn’t find a vanity that wasn’t near 500lbs with the amount of storage she would need. This is extremely well made for composite board. I haven’t seen composite this dense and strong before. It’s not the typical flakey composite, and is even better than IKEA composite. The assembly was a bit tedious and long but easy to follow, and totally worth it. It isn’t too big or too small. It’s a good size vanity for a small room, as it isn’t very tall or wide. I reconsidered buying it when I saw the $80 shipping, because I am so used to it always being free with Prime. I took a chance and did it anyway and it was completely worth it. ... show more
