  • Don’t expect them to hold up that long
Color: White / Amber
The headlights look great and fit relatively well into my car that has never been wrecked. The light pattern on low beam was arguably better than OEM which was surprising. Installing them was straightforward but the holes for bulbs were not right. They all required fiddling with, but to be fair my low beams were initially HID (more on that later) but the high beams were regular halogen and they didn’t fit well either. I had to double up the O-rings on the parking lights and cut away some extra bits on one hole to get the bulbs to slide all the way in. It didn’t very long to start getting compliments on how nice my car looked with new headlights but it didn’t take much more than a heavy rain for someone to mention that my headlights were fogged up on the inside. So I pulled the bulbs back out and coated the O-rings with a little bit of dielectric grease to secure of the seal, tightened the screws in the headlight bulbs a bit more before I finally got them to quit fogging up. Unfortunately the moisture killed an HID bulb… After a very impressive 20 years of service. Since it was one of the founding member of HID kits finding a replacement was impossible, so I upgraded to LED bulbs. To my astonishment the LED bulbs actually perform pretty good in this housing on low beam, the pattern was uniform and had a defined cutoff line but the drivers high beam was odd as it illuminated right down in front of the car instead of down the road. My previous set up was HID low beam/halogen highbeam, the upgrade to LED was high/ low beam so it was kind of hard to tell if this was a bulb issue or headlamp issue - call it a wash if you will. My car is garage kept and I was it as needed so after about a little more than a year with these headlights I was annoyed to see that they were “yellowing” as my OEM headlights did, but at least it took them 10 years to do so. So hear I am three years later wondering if I should just spend nearly $400 for OEM lights and be done with it or go through the replacement process every 3-4 years. Short of the story, if you want to see at night and maybe not blind people with your cloudy light diffusing old units or spruce the car to look nice for a little while to maybe get a few extra bucks when you sell it these will probably be fine, otherwise don’t expect any long-term miracles. ... show more

  • Can't adjust correctly
Color: White / Amber
[Final review, for now 1/2/2021] So removed my bumper cover, tied my license plate to the actual bumper (Illegal to have it just on your dash in some places), and went to my alignment spot. (A library. Flat ground, and vertical wall) I loosened the headlight housing, and attempted to push it downwards to give me more room to adjust the beam pattern. But it didn't do much. What I had to do, was mess with the 3 bulb mounting screws. The top-most screw, I set in all the way. The bottom two were left mostly alone. The reason for this, was so that the bulb would sit pointing upwards in the housing, so the reflectors would bounce the light more downward onto the road. The bad thing about this is that there is no longer a seal on the bulb. This may lead to the bulb burning out prematurely if water or another substance enters through the gap. Another bad thing is that the bulb now sits a tiny bit outside of the housing, making the light coming out of it slightly dimmer. (These are brand new bulbs) The beam pattern is better, but still not where it should be. I will keep the original rating of 3 stars. (Beam pattern was about 12 inches above the tape line. Now it's about 2 inches above it. It's supposed to be 2 inches bellow.) [Original review. Written 1/1/2021.] Got these, and installed them last night. When out to adjust these, I was not able to point the driver-side beam far down enough, to reach the 2-inch spot under the height of the headlight, from 25ft away. The lowest I was able to get was 2 inches ABOVE the height. (4 inches higher than what it needs to be) The high-beam is even worse. It points about a foot higher than the passenger-side high-beam, from 25ft away. The passenger-side one was perfectly fine. Something else I noticed was that it was kind of hard to install the bulbs. I had to use a deburring tool to remove some material from the passenger-side low-beam hole, as it would not go in without that modification. The turn signal mounts were tight (Especially for the passenger-side.) And the parking light bulb mounts were a little loose front-to-back, but tight in the twisting axis. I will attempt to reinstall the driver-side housing, and readjust tonight when it gets dark again, in case I didn't install it correctly somehow. If the problem was my fault, I will redo this review. But for now, I'm giving 3 stars for the possibility glaring light into on-coming traffic's eyes, and the seeming mid-range to bad quality control. ... show more

  • Great Value
Color: White / Amber
Installation requires bumper removal but is otherwise straight forward. Beam pattern isn’t the greatest but for the money, this was a great value over OEM new.

  • No complaints
Color: White / Amber
The low beam and high beam sockets each have three panhead phillips screws that provide friction on the bulb locking tabs. These may need to be adjusted to get a secure fit for the bulb seal. I recommend test-fitting the bulbs on the bench prior to mounting the new assembly in the car. I had at least one socket that was too tight for the bulb to lock-in out-of-the-box. Once adjusted, the bulb seated perfectly and securely. Don't over-tighten or it will be much harder to change bulbs in the future. Other than that, it's new shiny chinese plastic. We'll see how it holds up. Ships from US. Fast delivery. ... show more
