I needed a low profile ceiling light for a hallway in my office building. It needed to be adjustable in brightness and to be able to serve as a nightlight. This light worked perfectly. It was easy to install, blends in and is very unobtrusive and does its job well. Three of these modern innovative lights are installed in my galley kitchen. Easy to install...took me 15 minutes per light. Great light brightness can be varied from a remote. Not necessary to experiment with 5000K or 2500K fixtures as this light covers all the bases of brightness and color with the remote. Once all the lights are set and matched by the remote, you can simply use the wall switch to turn on/off to return to exact set point you selected. If you want to change settings use the remote. Some LED lights have a three point color switch under the cover that requires a ladder however no adjustment for brightness. This is a great best buy so really do not hesitate. Price is very reasonable. I used customer service and got immediate response. Best Plastic cover and silver trim. Body of fixture metal sturdy construction with holes to allow attachment to junction box screws. If no junction box, simply drill through fixture into the ceiling and install plastic anchors. This light does just enough. My husband said it wasn't hard to install. I wasn't expecting much since it's plastic, and the least expensive light that I have tried out of 4, but it does what I need it to do and more. I chose the model with the remote. It makes dimming the light and changing the brightness more easy. I like that this small light can light up our 242 square foot room (about 14.58 x 16.58 ft). It also has a backlight, which is basically a nightlight that stays on all night. It's just enough light to see where you're going if it's on, or it can be turned off by the switch or remote if you choose. My husband was impressed with it for the price. He loves the remote, the ability to dim the light, the backlight, and the choices of 3 levels of brightness - daylight and warm and one other. ... show more

My game room lighting is located on a switch that is 1 room over. the switch's on/off controls are for both rooms. Electrican installation FAIL. So, this was a no-brainer for me to have these on a separate remote switch. I can leave the lights on in one room and turn them off in another. YEAH! I can have the light bright under the pool table and low or off by the arcade area. I easily replaced the old large clunky light fixtures with these low-profile lights. The low profile is also ideal for ping-pong play. They can be soft and warm or bright white. You can easily remove the super lightweight cover with a twist for all those pesky Asian beetles that sneak in a die inside light fixtures too. These look great and I wish I had them 10 years ago. This was purchased on 12/9/20. It was purchased for an office that was being renovated. I recommended this product to my wife, as a fix for her lighting needs in the office. Its flush mount and LED distinction is what drove the purchase. LED lights last on the minimum 8-10yrs or more if you are lucky. This light lasted 3.5yrs before issues became relevant. The light would not brighten the room and lit dim. The room it was in was now unfit for occupation. My trade is a Facility Manager with over 35 yrs experience. I recommended and chose this light because of its benefits and long-term cost. I was rather disappointed when the light stopped working after 3.5yrs of mild usage.     • Perfect For Movie Night or Late Nite TV Watching
I was trying to find a way to remotely control the ceiling light in the living room - mostly to turn it on and off, and possibly capable of dimming. Didn't need to control it from outside the house (vacation, Siri, or anything else). This works perfectly for what I was looking for! Sit on the sofa, log onto Netflix, then dim the light. Tired and want to just crash on the sofa, push a button and turn off the light. Someone wants to rudely wake you up, they can just flip the regular light switch off and on and the fixture turns on full. You want to change it from bright white to a dimmed warm light, just push buttons on the remote. You still have regular control with the wall light switch to turn it off and on. If you know how to change the ceiling light fixture, you'll be able to handle this just as easily. Exceeded my expectations. Will report if there are any issues. ... show more
