    • A solid desk, with caveats

I was quite happy when I saw this listing in March. However, there was only one inventory unit left for the variety I wanted to purchase. Having been shopping online for many years now, I knew this was some type of worrisome indicator. After doing further research on the product and provider, I decided to purchase the desk anyways. The fact that my country was in a sort of chain supply crisis and that the desk was fairly heavily discounted encouraged my decision. So, I purchased the desk. I soon came to find out, that the desk was being shipped from far overseas. Because of this, the payment would not process immediately and I had to wait approximately 2 months to receive the item. This further increased my worry about the transaction as a whole. However, I decided eventually to blow it off and just mark it up as another purchase with certain 'differences' about it. I cannot recall which occurred first, but the payment was eventually processed to another card on my account that I specifically did not intend to charge anything to. It was considerably frustrating to have to address this. The desk did arrive approximately half a month earlier than was originally stated. I began putting it together shortly afterwards and encountered some more problems. First, there were only 3 rubber/plastic feet for the desk legs included with the package; when there are four legs. I worked around this and made the most out of it that I could. I was under the impression that these sort of things just don't happen in retail anymore. Also, a corner of the desk was damaged by having been chipped by something. I specifically purchased this desk because it was made with a nice wood too; teak. I just left it alone though and kept it as is. The rest of the assembly of the desk was fine. Overall it was a solid desk that I have enjoyed using. The best part of the product is the fact that I can stretch my legs out. I am a tall person, and after having spent decades using a desk hutch where my legs could not stretch out. This is like a medical, relaxation, and comfort treat! I recommend this desk to anyone that knows they will get what they intend. But do beware, there may be more than meets the eye. ... show more

Beautiful desk with a lot of leg room. I would like to give it a 5, but I found quite a few scuff marks on the wood (in close-up pictures) and the metal legs were scratched up a bit. The desk itself was very easy to assemble and I did it without any help. It’s a pretty heavy piece of furniture, so if you aren’t that strong I would suggest having someone to help you lift it once it is assembled. I left a few pictures of the desk by itself as well as one to show how spacious the top is. The walnut color is super beautiful and the top of the desk is quite sturdy. Only issue I had was the screws. Some of the screw holes were a bit hard to get the screw in. Legs were wobbly at first due to this, but I managed to get them in tight enough to solve the issue.     • Great desk for the money with a single downside

Desk assembled quickly and easily and feels very sturdy. Width is great for a mixed use or multi use situation. In my case I use half of it for work/play on PC and the other half as a dedicated hobby space for painting miniatures primarily. The only downside is that the metal reinforcement frame on the underside of the desk top can impede any bolt on items like lamps or monitor arms. If you aren't worried about anything like that, its a great choice, but if you are planning to attach anything to the desktop you will want to do some measuring and ensure you have the clearance needed. ... show more

I bought 2 and they look great. One did have a Marking on the desks top in the corner but this was not worth returning. I liked the price and that it’s all white (legs and tabletop). If you have the space, more than 47” may be better. I fit 2 on the same wall and it fits great.

We were impressed with how carefully this table was packed. All the parts were in perfect condition. It was super easy to put together -- we probably could have done it without looking at the instructions. The table is well made and very sturdy. We're using it in out 5th wheel as a replacement for the dinette table, which we removed. This table has a lot more surface area, and we can use it as a desk as well as for dining.     • Nice, inexpensive desk with minor shortcomings

I'm happy with mine - no defects, sufficient packaging. Extremely easy assembly and all of the tools needed are included. The one downside is that the metal frame on the underside of the table leaves only about a 0.5" of clearance before the edge of the wooden table top, and the metal frame itself is about 1.5" tall. This limits your choice of under-table accessories, since you have to find something that can accommodate the combined thickness (2") of the metal frame and tabletop, as well as the nearness of the underside frame to the edge of the table. For example, I haven't been able to find a clamp-on keyboard tray that has 2" of clearance for the metal frame and the correct depth so that the tray will clamp to the frame and not stick out too much. On the other hand, accessories that can clamp onto the metal frame can be tightened securely and work just fine. ... show more
