These hooks work well. I've used them inside of cabinet doors to hang measuring spoons, potholders...you name it. Just clean the surface well before using, then wipe the area with rubbing alcohol. The stability is excellent, and it’s very durable, but it’s a bit unfortunate that it cannot be reused. For renters, removing it will inevitably damage the wall or painted wooden surfaces, so extra caution is needed when using it.

I love these. They stick to my refrigerator (textured surface). I use them to hang my frying pans and griddles. They will stick to wood, I use them on my painted surfaces, and high-gloss surfaces for kitchen towels. I do not know if they leave a residue, since I never intend to remove them.

I have found many uses for these large hooks. I used them along with tie-back ropes to hold back my drapes in several rooms of my house. I hung a pretty, spring wreath on my back door to create a festive entrance way. I hung another spring wreath on top of a mirror in my foyer. I could only use this type of hook, because I did not want to put holes in my door or walls.
