Was looking for an adhesive hook that was not very noticeable. I love that these are clear so they are less noticeable on the wall. The adhesive is pretty strong and I have had it holding up a 5lb item. Tip mark where you want to put it on the wall first. Then place it on the wall starting at one corner and then press down gradually. This will ensure good adhesion at the right place. ... show more

I bought these to put up around the ceiling of my carport for Christmas lights and for regular white lights on a motion detector the rest of the year. I scrubbed the areas I wanted to stick them with rubbing alcohol and let it dry for some hours before putting them up then left it to cure for 48 hours. The metal hooks are strong, heavy, and sturdy. I like the backing adhesive for smooth surfaces. However, for painted wall I prefer to use 3M Command strips which doesn't damage on removal

    • Use a card scraper
I decided to use these to mount all my pays to the wall so I could have the cabinet space and I am glad I did. These hold even my large stock pot with no issues. When you install them, you will want to do two things first: 1. Proper prep of the mounting surface. This just means make sure it is clean and dry. 2. Use a card scraper or really anything stiff to work out all the bubbles and make sure your entire adhesive surface is fully gripping the wall. Does not hold 44 pounds. Not waterproof.. is not super sticky. For much lighter weight items, they are usable. They are very easy to install. And they removed easy also.
