I saw this in a TikTok and thought it was so cute that I had to have it. The Amazon price is MUCH cheaper than what it's listed for on the company website, but even for the $40 listed price it's pretty overpriced for what it is--looking back, I'm pretty thankful I had a gc and points to offset the purchase. It's a desk decoration (just a bit larger than your hand) whose lights you can program via the Divoom app. You can basically program any color combination you want, and there are several light settings that you can choose from to customize how the colors are displayed. You can program it to turn on and off by clapping your hands, and it can also notify you of texts/calls by changing colors. I'm only giving this 3 stars because this thing can't hold a charge for very long, and it gets pretty tedious to charge. You get a day's worth of continuous play after charging it for the recommended time of 4 hours, then it turns off. I have a moon lamp (also from Amazon) that I purchased for a similar purpose that lasts longer than this. Cute trinket, but the constant charging is something you should def consider before buying. ... show more

So I have had my eye on this for a long time. I mean a a longgggg time. I just couldn’t justify the price. I’m just being honest. It finally went on sale and I decided it was time to get one. The booklet is super simple and like two pages in my native language. It does have a qr scanner to send you to an app to control the lamp. Okay that’s where I messed up lol. I figured that by seeing the pixels app it wasn’t going to work for my lamp. Nope. It definitely works. I’m much more happier with the purchase than I was yesterday now that I’ve figured out the pixel app does actually work for this lamp. ... show more

Wanted to like it and I do… but I really wish the volume or sqft of light was larger. It’s not as vibrant on my wall or ceiling as I would have liked it to be and the room isn’t that large. But it is a cute little lamp for sure. I also saw some questions about if you can use this as a main lamp - I would say definitely not. The media could not be loaded. No defects, works great. The silver antenna thing is a push button that you use to change the mode/direction of the colors but if you turn it, it changes to a series of colors. Quite cool, doesn’t play music or anything like that but it’s connected to the Divoom app and that app is bluetooth, connects to your phone… and has hundreds, maybe thousands of different color modes and moving color modes, etc. It all comes down to, yes it’s nice as a little night light lamp. ... show more

i was in the middle of writing a scathing one star review when everything changed. in two of the FEW one stars reviews, they talk about how when they go through their SETTINGS and try to connect to the Planet-9 via bluetooth, their phones said “Planet-9 not supported” then completely disappeared from their bluetooth list, and the same thing happened to me for HOURS. until i watched a youtube video of someone reviewing the lamp, and they skipped going to the device settings entirely and went straight to the Divoom app. in the app, he went to SETTINGS>DEVICE and it paired automatically. on my iPhoneXR, there is no said option. however in the iPhone app, when you tap the CUBE, then tap the SCREEN with the + sign in the top left corner, it automatically paired! it took me literally hours to figure this out so i hope this review helps someone! i still have to give four stars for how complicated all this was when the instructions/app could’ve been more clear. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently converted one of our old bedrooms into an office and was looking for something to spice up the room. I came across the Divoom Planet-9 Mood Lamp and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised with this product. Their app makes it extremely easy to choose the lights you want. You can make your own colors/lightshow or you can choose to use someone else's that uploaded it to the Divoom app. This is a lot better than trying to mess with RGB light strips, in my opinion. It's completely wireless and comes with a charger. This lamp is smaller than I originally thought but I'm glad. I put it under my desk's TV stand and faced it towards the wall. Doing this makes it light up the whole area versus pointing the light directly towards me (which is quite blinding lol). I listen to music all day with my speakers so using the lamp's music visualizer mode is so fun. I recommend it for anyone who wants their music to feel more alive. I really like this lamp and I will probably get another one. If you're on the fence about purchasing this lamp, just dive in and do it! You won't regret it. ... show more
