Our snorkeling trip was about an half day in the middle of the ocean. (near an island) Surprisingly, the mask was tight enough for me to appreciate the view of undersea for the entire trip. However, I was scared when biting the mouthpiece so accidentally swallowed small amounts of ocean water. My hubby was able to use it without issue for the whole time. As a beginner, it’s better to understand how it works and practice few times before jumping into the middle of the ocean since you might get nervous in an unfamiliar environment.
