Perfect! Just what I needed to replace a noisy quartz ticking clock. Only one comment: the white day line... It lights up my bedroom ever so slightly at night. If the day line was all red or not there at all it would be flawlessly perfect. ~98% of the room illuminating light coming from the clock in complete darkness is coming from the white day line. AMAZON VINE REVIEW of the XUANZIT Digital Wall Clock with Large LED Display I ordered this 8-inch LED wall clock to replace an older analog clock that has been my “Getting Ready Timekeeper” in my bathroom for more than twenty years. A clock in the bathroom is a must have for me. I like to linger in the shower, how much time do I need to shave, when do I need to be “out the door” to be EARLY for wherever I am going? That clock was my sentry, keeping me on track and on time. I need a clock. My father was a Swiss-Trained watchmaker, and I grew up fixing clocks and watches and still enjoy it. As a dedicated watch and clock tinkerer I was sure I could simply replace the original battery-powered quartz movement and keep my old clock for the next decade or two. I was wrong. It was jarring when I realized that there WERE no movements for my old clock unless I wanted to try a USED movement from E-Bay. I have sadly taken my old clock down and placed it safely bubble-wrapped in a plastic bin with an airtight top because you never know when the EXACT quartz movement I need will appear. At least I have hope. As with most problems that are solvable with THINGS, I trust the AMAZON MARKETPLACE to provide. So, for now, I will transition to this digital AC-powered wall clock that displays the time, (as AM-PM or 24-hour time) day of the week, numeric month, two-digit year, and inside temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius, as desired) in a LARGE easy to read digital font. SEE THE ATTACHED PICTURES. The clock has three levels of brightness that react to the ambient light in the room. I have to admit that my old faithful clock was not much use in a dark room. This one lights up to display an easy to see clockface based on the brightness or lack of it in the room. It is especially useful in the bathroom as a “night light” if I make my way there in the middle of the night. Having that shining clock face reminding me that I SHOULD be sleeping at this hour is helpful in sending me back to bed. I am sad that my old faithful clock has met its demise, but THIS replacement has already proven itself to be everything I need in my “Getting Ready Timekeeper.” I will always have a soft spot for the old analog clock and I WILL put it back in service if the right movement should appear, but it will not be replacing this gem in my bathroom. I still prefer a purely mechanical watch with springs, gears, wheels, palette forks, rotors, bridges, and three or more hands accurately moving around a dial, but I am also willing to admit that my Smart Watch that has NONE of the above parts but takes my blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation, and tells me the quality of my sleep last night while it holds my contacts list, accepts text messages, and answers phone calls also has a place on my wrist while it is busy counting my steps. I AM sentimental about old watches, but I am NOT a LUDDITE! So, welcome home to my amazing new DIGITAL bathroom clock. It costs $24.99 at AMAZON (July 2024) and might be an excellent candidate to be YOUR Getting Ready Timekeeper, too. I ordered the red because it's the least obnoxious of all the colors when it comes to having a clock light interfere with whatever you're doing. For me, the red is so easy on the eyes. I like everything about this clock except one thing. The display will dim when you turn out the lights. I dislike this feature with the passion of a thousand suns. This clock has a great display brightness when the room is lit. I would like that at all times. I wish there was a button so that one could toggle between auto dim and no auto dim. That's just me and how I like things. I could understand if one were trying to conserve battery power but this is plugged in. So far the time has neither sped up or slowed down. I have several clocks that don't keep time well. This clock has all the info I need on a clock and I do Like it. But again if there were one thing I would change it would be to add a dimmer button to toggle between dim and no dim. I also would prefer a battery powered version because I don't like having a wire hanging down my wall. Having that one wire hanging down an otherwise clean wall really chaps my hide, that and when the clock dims in low light. ... show more

It seems to work very well so far. Out of the box, you just need to connect it to a power source, but I somewhat wish it was battery-powered. I suppose that would be a hassle to take it down every so often, though. Once powered on, setting the date and time is very easy and you're ready to go. After a week or so, the time has not deviated in any way and is on the dot with my other clocks in the house. I particularly like that it's accurate down to the seconds. I'm hopeful that it will continue to stay this accurate in the future. The date and temperature function is also nice to have whenever I'm feeling curious about the room temperature, or need to know what day of the week it is. Sometimes I'll forget and the easy to read display shows exactly where I'm at in the week. Overall, it's pretty sturdy and aesthetically pleasing for me. It keeps track of time very well and it's easy to know what day it is by a quick glance. The indoor temperature is a plus as well. ... show more

I was stoked to unpack this clock and get it set up. It has a matte finish and great functionality. However, within a matter of days, one of the hashes burnt out (bottom of the date field). Also didn’t prefer that it had to be plugged in at all times, but not a dealbreaker.
