    • Simple, does the job!
This review was written in September 2018. There are multiple reviews for prior versions of this product, please disregard those, as it has changed. It seems more often than not we suffer products that have too many unusable features, unintelligible instructions, and require complicated procedures for achieving simple functions, yet fail to perform the most basic of tasks. Thankfully this is not one of those products. Pushing the on/off button turns it on or off. Pushing the start/stop button starts or stops the timer. When timing, pushing the Lap/Reset button freezes the display so you can see the lap time, but the timer continues to run in the background, and lets you know it’s still running by flashing the colon (:) between minutes and seconds. Pushing Lap/Reset again unfreezes the display and displays the running elapsed time. You can push Lap/Reset as many times as you want to freeze/unfreeze the elapsed time. Pushing Lap/Reset when the timer is stopped resets the timer to zero. That’s all. No beeps, no memory, no lap splits, no countdown, no clearing previous data, no programming of dates, days, years, current time, daylight savings time, alarm times, zulu time, backlight intensity programming, Bluetooth interface with mobile app, magnetic flux variations, relativistic tachyon beam distortion factors or any other useless and complicated procedures that engineers and marketing departments hopelessly pile on as “features” that no one can possibly remember, much less use. The display is easy to read and it times to the 1/100 of a second, which is far beyond my needs. It takes 2 AAA batteries, which are included. That’s a nice change, and much preferred over those stupid button batteries, with seemingly hundreds of different types out there identified by slightly different numbers which are never compatible with each other. It’s also accurate. Like a previous reviewer, I timed a 12 hour period to the second as given by the time on my phone, but unlike his results, mine came up dead on. The only quibble possible is that the case feels light and a little flimsy, and dropping it pops opens the battery compartment. Solution: don’t drop it. If you just need a stopwatch that times things and doesn’t assume that you need to perform integral calculus via voice command on the fly, this is it.     • Easiest stopwatch to use
I purchase this because I am a fitness instructor and needed a very simple stopwatch that I didn’t have to tinker with in the middle of my classes. This was PERFECT! I love it and the batteries are very easy to change out.

This digital stopwatch is very easy to operate. This product is perfect for timing things. Left button clears, right button starts timer. There is a split feature but it does not interfere with the basic operation and understanding of the timer. Was looking for a timer that does not beep at all - here it is. ... show more

    • iI can click off very easily if you put in a pocket, especially while walking.
It is basically as described. Very easy to use, light, and easy to hold. But too easy to accidently turn off my removing it from a pocked or grabbing it. Super for short dashes, laps and when you'll be very stationary with timer cord around your neck.

I need a stop watch to time warm-ups for USAV volleyball tournaments. That's it, nothing fancy. Having used it twice now, this stop watch perfectly fits the bill and at a low cost. What else could one ask for?

I wanted a simple, inexpensive stopwatch for my granddaughters. They enjoy timing themselves doing various activities. This stopwatches description was exactly what I was looking for. The stopwatch arrived without the AAA batteries that were advertised to be in the package. Not a dealbreaker, I always have extras in my workshop. Unfortunately, even with brand new batteries properly installed the stopwatch would not power on. I returned it and purchased another model that was not as child friendly as I wanted.
