I bought this to help me with a wood project using a table saw to ensure the blade was angled correctly. The gauge worked for a few days then the screen did not display clearly the second digit. I tried to replace the old batteries with new ones to see if it made a difference but the display screen w
as still difficult to read. The second number would look like an "R" or some other broken-up number.

n Amazon, but I picked this one because of the display. It’s clear, bright, and the little see-saw icon is highly intuitive. Picking it up and putting it back down in the same spot rarely shows the exact same reading, but it’s always within 0.10 or so. If that’s not for you, feel free to spend significantly more to buy something that will meet your standards. I can’t cut or weld to that precisely, so this thing is perfect for me. I’m tempted to buy a spare in case I lose this one...

Compared to an older Harbor Freight Inclinometer, It is much superior. It settles about 10 time faster. It is much easier to read. It uses 2 each AAA batteries compared to Harbor Freight using 3 coin cell batteries. It has a 5 minute timer that turns it off, no matter what.(I wish it would reset the
timer when I change the angle). It also has a higher resolution .01 degrees. I like that too, but in my application not as important. The graphic level indicator also is a plus. It makes it quicker to determine what direction I need to move the part when attempting to level something. Overall I like It very much so far.

Bright display, but reading is bouncy.

I bought this gauge to attach to my zero turn (ZTR) mower. There are some steep areas in my yard and the ZTR can get unstable when presented with a slope greater than 15 degrees. While the gauge does provide a bright, daylight readable display, it lack any hysteresis to smooth the readings. As a resu
lt, any slight bounce or jostle cause the values to jump around. This almost makes it unusable for this application.

Perfect for setting the altitude angle of my Orion Star Blast 4.5 telescope
Color: Grey
Some objects in the night sky, like the beehive star cluster, are almost impossible to see with the naked eye. But, the sky coordinates of the cluster are available. I use this angle gauge to set the altitude coordinate of my telescope (see photo) and I have found the angle gauge to be quite accurate

Not a bad gadget for the price. Works well enough for my purposes... but. The included phillips screwdriver is for the battery cover. A nice touch. Unless the shaft of the one they send you has been mounted to the handle backwards. See pic.

Poorly thought out auto display off timer

The product is easy to use and I assume it's pretty accurate, but I have not checked its accuracy. However one HUGE fail with the design is that the display shuts down after ONLY 15 seconds of inactivity! What the hack is wrong with these Chinese gadget designers? Can't they make it display shutoff i
n 3 minutes? I want to use this angle finder to set the bevel angle on my miter saw and that 15-second timer just kills the functionality of this gadget. When the display goes off I have to hit the hold button twice to get back the display. And then that 15 second display off timer starts again. One would have to be a speed demon to be able to set the bevel angle on a miter saw or table saw in under 15 seconds. It's not worth my time to return it.

Small accurate and magnetic. highly recommend

This product is small. But very large. I built a large warehouse. And I must point out that I no longer use a spirit level. While building the device fell twice. And no damage was caused to the device. The device makes you work accurately. And also convenient that it is magnetic. I am very satisfied

Inaccurate but Consistent

It’s easy to use. My issue is that it seems to be off about 2.25 degrees consistently. Because I know it is consistently off, I can still use it but I’d rather have an accurate gauge.
