When I ordered this collar for my lab I questioned how well made it was, but when it came in I found it to be nicely made. Now It is not like a thick leather belt and I don't know if I would hook the leash to it and expect it to hold if he took off in a run. There is a slide in snap so not sure how well that would hold. Great quality for my 75 lb doggo! I buy him a new collar for each birthday and this one is one of my favs! I got the blue and gold and it looks great on his brindle coat. Definitely looks expensive and feels like great quality. It’s easily adjusted, size and fit was perfect, and the D ring is thick and the clasp is easy to release quickly if needed. I have pits with an 18-inch circumference neck, and they are perfect! They are soft and thin enough for around the clock wear. The buckles jingle a little, but just a little and I kind of like it, lets me know where they are, lol. I bought two colors, and they are both beautiful!

It maybe remade from some form of leather, but it is not what you would recognize as leather. That being said the color is perfect and metal closure is well made and nice looking. Durability is terrible. We had it on our English Bulldog for maybe a full month and it broke. Loved the soft leather, look and feel. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the buckle.
