These beautiful, E17-52CMC-DW, 6,000K, DiCUNO L.E.D. replacements for incandescent kitchen appliance and other applications have that super clean white light like you see in Whole Foods and other high end Food store display cases. With the power saving, even for intermittant use, these lamps will not only pay for themselves in about a year but, being light-emitting-diode technology, they will almost certainly outlast the host appliance!!! The only caveat is that the white plastic collar, just above the no-rust stainless steel E17 base, measures 19mm diameter and is not tapered as a glass bulb would be, so it may take a little patience to get the L.E.D. bulb fully installed in the socket so the center contact is connected. But, this well-designed product has that collar knurled to allow a good grip and ease of installation. (After a couple of minutes my 5 year old Whirlpool Cabinet Refrigerator had the dismal yellow filament bulbs replaced and now has that cool clean arctic look!) The DiCUNO "6-pack" of these bulbs is even well-done, compact, and with attractive color graphics. Good value/Good job! ... show more

Great lightbulbs! I have an over-the-stove microwave (GE model # JVM3160RF3SS), and the bulbs on the bottom (that illuminate the stovetop) kept burning out. I ordered these to replace the short-lived incandescent bulbs (GE part # WB25X10030), and they fit perfectly in the sockets. I think they're even brighter than the incandescents! As the description says, they aren't really dimmable - they do put out a bit of light on the lower setting, although it's not much and they also flicker somewhat - but I didn't use that feature much anyway. One last thing: the price on these is fantastic - six bulbs for $14.99! The replacement incandescents cost $11.25 EACH. Even if the LEDs burn out as fast as the incandescents did (which I'm hoping they won't), I'll have saved over $50! I'll update this review when the first bulb burns out. Hopefully that won't be for a long time! ... show more

Our refrigerator has a fixed shelf/drawer assembly, intended for "meats and cheeses." Behind this assy is a molded, Lexan light bulb diffuser, which covers two (2) bulb sockets that serve to illuminate, from behind, the contents of this drawer, and switches on along with all other bulb sockets when the main door is opened. We replaced one burned out incandescent and installed two (2) of these E17 LED bulbs in each of these sockets. Made a sizable improvement in both the specific (for that drawer) as well as fill to even out the overall interior illumination! These are not exceptionally bright (that's the lumens rating, which here is noted as 400lm), and without higher lumen output lamps, we can't comment on perceived, relative brightness or lack thereof. These seem to do the job, for our situation. YMMV, if for example, one was to place these in all bulb sockets rather than a pair of rear unit, centrally located sockets that are largely, directly blocked by the drawer/contents serviced by the sockets. We also like the light's color (6000K rated) which means, more like bright white and NOT soft/warm/yellowish as would be the case for bulbs in the 3500K range. We've found higher Kelvin (daylight/6000K) bulbs work MUCH better for visual clarity, while "warm" bulbs are better suited for softer, mood lighting. Since these go in an appliance, there's no need to set a mood, other than the bad mood that would result when you can't see what is in the refrigerator. Highly recommend. ... show more

My old (1977!) microwave oven came with incandescent bulbs and it is difficult and time-consuming to replace them. I installed these LEDs a few years ago and they are still working. It is easy to forget to turn the timer to the off position and leave the lights on for hours or days. These bulbs reduce the penalty for forgetting. I purchased these LED bulbs to replace two incandescent used in a desk lamp. I love the "whiteness" rather than the slightly warm color of the incandescent.
