    • A very decent portable PA

We chose the 10 over the larger woofer due to the $300 cost. I'd read a previous review that said the difference was not worthwhile. This unit is well packed and double boxed. It "Feels" like a quality unit. Setup was simple. The wireless mic's are robust with metal casing though they take AA batteries; 9 volt would've been nicer. The sound is nice and clear. The mic's sound very nice without any dropout. All in all, this is a very good portable PA. Was not able to test the battery due to charging condition at time of this review. I added a powered subwoofer to this unit and that really makes it shine. The talkover is pretty cool. When engaged, the music will drop really low when the mic picks up any voice. This unit would be good outside as a portable PA for sing-a-long and background music. It would also work very nicely for a coffee shop gig with acoustic guitar. If you're looking at this for sound reinforcement; don't. It's not powerful enough on it's own. Even if you had two of them with subs; still not useable. With all of that money, you could buy powered PA speakers pole mounted on top of powered subs. This unit could work for a small Wedding or other get together.     • Best Diamondboxx Deal Ever !!!!!

First of all I've purchased most of the products that Diamondboxx have made and my opinion on the majority of their products are average. Don't get me wrong they make a fine speaker line. It's not the best in the market but they can stand on their own. I just feel they are really overpriced on what they deliver. Now the Diamondboxx PA10 is a great buy at $299-$249 dollars. The PA10 is the smarter buy over the PA15 which is $300 more. There is such a very small difference from the PA10 and the PA15 sound wise. The other big difference is the weight the PA10 is 30lbs as the PA15 is 70 lbs big difference. Unfortunately I had to return the two units I've had this issue with diamondboxx in the past for some reason their bluetooth signal has a tendency to stutter and drops out a lot mainly in the out doors. There speakers are louder than the average manufacture however lately I'm beginning to doubt their actual DB ratings. The PA10 claims 120db after listening between the struttering and drop outs it didn't sound anything close to 120db but once again the speaker is $299 so I will let that slide ... show more

Overall for the price $699 it definitely worth getting. I give 5 stars! For $999 I would give 4 stars! It sounds good but not sure I would buy the 2nd unit. This is something you use when there is no outlet and want a party sound. Getting Just 1 won't do it justice. Something to know that is that there is 3 ways to control the volume and if one of them is down it won't sound very loud. 1st one is the knob 2nd is phone and 3rd is with the remote control. I didn't know about the remote control volume at first, it wasn't very loud. But once you put the volume up you'll notice the difference. Another thing is put then on speaker stands it will give it a fuller sound! But they are HEAVY! The Cons are that it could have more bass, Maybe once they are burn-in they will have a slight different sound. And again they are heavy! Great speaker all around! It’s heavy don’t get me wrong but the wheels make is so much easier to transport. The sound is great! I love how clear it is there and is no muffled sound. Do I recommend?absolutely! Make sure when you get one to use the different bass and treble knobs to adjust the sound. Also if you use Spotify use there built in eq and make it have more bass. If the bass isn’t enough then, then if you have an iPhone then go into the settings and look up eq and set it to hip hop or bass boost. ... show more

    • Good sound, well made, loud but not really “portable”

First off, I’m confused how it’s 128.1 decibels but my the new SOUNDBOKS (which is 128 decibels) was clearly louder. This is a sturdy speaker, high quality, loud, the microphones are really nice, sounds great at max volume. My biggest issue is that if I get a battery powered speaker, I want it to be portable. While it in theory can be portable, it’s so heavy and not very weather or dust protected that I wouldn’t really want to take it to a beach or a woods or any other non controlled environment. So really, anywhere I’d actually bring this speaker, I’ll probably have a power source which makes this battery powered speaker unnecessary ... show more

The best speaker on the market for an all in one do it all portable speaker, haven’t heard anything even close to in volume and clarity. Throws full sound hundreds of feet. I use it daily and it never disappoints, really makes you get lost in the music. Everyone I’ve had hear it wants to get one immediately, have had two friends buy it since! I'm a D.J. and these are the loudest portable Bluetooth Speakers with the most bass i ever owned. I have 3 new soundboks and a soundboks 2 . The PA 15s are definitely better. Crystal Clear with outstanding bass. I love the wheels and luggage handle.
