  • Works as intended
Size: 5 Pack
A practical tool for women seeking to understand their menopausal stage without the need for a doctor's visit. Its ease of use and no-app requirement make it accessible and reliable. However, be prepared to manually interpret the results and know that it provides limited hormonal information. But, overall, it's a valuable product for gaining insight into menopause from home. ... show more

  • Good measure for menopausal symptoms
Size: 5 Pack
The test kit is similar to that of a pregnancy test where you use a urine stream and you wait for the test results. Comes with a diagram to compare the results for easy identification. very good value. Easy to use. Recommended.

  • You need to do 2 tests, one week apart, should have even number of tests
I’m in my early 40s so was curious where I am on the menopause spectrum. What I didn’t realize is that you need to take two tests, one 2-7 days of your period and one week later. So why do they give you only 5 tests? It means you can only do 2 sets with one extra/useless. It’s pretty easy to use and both my tests came back negative, which isn’t surprising, but again I ordered this as I was curious. ... show more

  • Yup, but I kinda knew that
I was curious to confirm that I was menopausal. I had a full hormone panel five years ago, which said perimenopause, and I've definitely had symptoms. The test was easy, just pee on a stick and read at exactly 5 minutes. They advise testing one week apart, which makes perfect sense, as we all have cycles and different foods or activities can affect minute hormone levels. The included information packet is excellent. It's clear and well written, with drawings and rather clearly printed (as us middle aged folks often bristle at that teensy print on packages). The only thing I didn't notice in the online listing at first was this isn't recommended if you're taking hormones (contraceptives or HRT). I kind of wish I'd been doing this test system for the past five years just to keep tabs on things. It's appealing that there are so many otc tests available to help guide us so we can find the right help for symptoms. ... show more

  • Confusing to read, odd number of tests
Size: 5 Pack
Diagnox FSH menopause test is a good way to get an idea of where you are in your menopause process, but the tests are a little confusing and hard to read. The test acts similar to a pregnancy test, where your first urine of the day is what you’ll use. You can either pee on the stick or dip it in a cup, and then wait five minutes for results. When testing you’ll actually use two test, one week apart. That’ll give you your first reading and then your second reading a week later. The odd thing is they only give you five tests instead of six. I guess they figure one might be used as practice and wasted. You have to be sure and read the instructions carefully. For me, the results weren’t very strong so I wasn’t quite sure what that meant. I am in a unique situation where I had a hysterectomy years ago, so I don’t have a period to judge off of. I was really hoping this test would indicate to me where I am in the process since I still have one ovary. I’ll try this again in a month or so and maybe I’ll get it better and easier to read results. ... show more

  • Make sure to read the Limitations of Use before testing
Size: 5 Pack
I don’t know what some of these people in the reviews are reading, but you have to take two tests (not one), and the second is one week after the first test (not two weeks). To get full and accurate test results, it requires using two testing sticks, so it's odd that the box only comes with five. To take the test, you pee on the stick (or dip in urine) for 5–10 seconds. Immediately place the cap on the test and put it on a flat surface; then start a five-minute timer. Read the results in exactly five minutes. The tested urine should be your first urine after waking. If you’re still having monthly periods: • First Test: Take the test on days 2–7 of your cycle (day one is the first day of menstruation). • Second Test: One week after the first test. If you’re no longer having regular periods (I assume this means if you skip months): • First Test: Any time during the month. • Second Test: One week after the first test. I took the first test on day seven of my cycle (Wednesday). I would have preferred to take it mid-cycle, but it didn’t arrive as planned, and I didn’t want to wait another month. I took the second test the following Wednesday, setting a reminder for the morning. I woke up to the reminder and headed to the bathroom, only to forget and pee as usual (isn’t that a sign? LOL). I tested a few hours later, though. I do plan to retest next month to confirm, considering I didn’t use the first urine for the second test. I’m really surprised at the results, though. Both tests came out with a much lighter T line, meaning negative (premenopause). This feels like a good product. The literature is well written and clear, and the tests seem to be of high quality. ... show more
