    • Quick and easy to use!
I like the Easy@Home brand because their products are affordable, reliable, and easy to use. I have used their ovulation tests before to determine when I was ovulating so that I would know the ideal time to have hormone testing done for maximum accuracy. I thought that these vaginal pH test strips would be good to have on hand for if I'm ever having symptoms of an infection. I am prone to yeast infections, especially when I take antibiotics. I am not currently having any vaginal symptoms but I tested these out anyways. I love that both the test strips and the swabs all come individually packaged so that there is limited potential for contamination. They're super easy to use, and the results are almost instant (15 seconds). You simply swab the inside of your vaginal wall, apply the swab to the test strip, and after 15 seconds read your results and compare the color to the enclosed scale which is helpfully printed on the package of each individual test strip. Despite not having symptoms, my results were a little outside of the normal range (5-5.5) but this somewhat makes sense to me since I have been treating a fungal infection in my gut and have been taking anti-fungal/anti-bacterial herbs which can reduce your body's beneficial flora which helps keep the pH balanced. I will have to try these again once I have cleared that infection, and maybe up my probiotic dosage in the meantime to help counteract these effects.     • BV test only - PH strips are not used to detect yeast infections!!!
These appear to work as a PH level test, and are fairly easy to use. WIthout having another brand of test to compare the results to, I instead tried testing the PH of things that I know are high or low - I tried with water first and it appeared to fall into the correct color. I tried vinegar on another test, and again, it turned the color I would expect from something acidic like vinegar. This is a good deal to have a bunch of strips on hand when you want to check for yourself before heading to the doctor. I only gave it four stars because the description is misleading - PH strips are not used to confirm yeast infections. Yeast infections will show a normal PH unless something else is wrong as well. To the company listing this - PLEASE remove the title text about it working for detecting yeast infections! ... show more

    • Easy to use and true to color reference
The last few years I've had recurrent infections. Either ureaplasma or yeast. It's been better the last year since I started autoimmune medication but I recently was having symptoms. My OBGYN won't let you do any urinary or swab tests with a nurse anymore. They want you to make an appt which can take a month. So I thought these would be nice to try since if everything is normal I probably don't need an appointment. I've never tried anything like these before, but they were simple and easy to use. They're individually wrapped and each test packet has the color scale on it so you can keep one in your purse, or take it on vacation without leaving the color reference behind on the box. When I tested mine tested normal. The color was exact to the scale so easy to read unlike some water test strips I have. I can't say how accurate they are. I will have to try them if possible around a time I have a verified infection and will update my review if they turn out to be ineffective. ... show more

These test strips are really nicely packaged. The strips are in individual wrappers - the wrappers have the pH chart printed on it. I really like that these are individual and not loose in a container or matchbook style with tear-away strips. Having them separate seems very sanitary and makes sure the unused strips do not get tainted or ruined some other way. This does come come with swabs also. It's got everything you need except the sample. The color-reactive swatch at the end of the test stick changed color almost instantly. I had a hard time reading mine at first because my results didn't quite match anything exactly. I think I am in between numbers which is why I had a hard time matching the color. I consistently got the same color for different tests over several days, so I believe these are accurate. I tested my spit to give myself something to compare my results against and I could clearly match the color against the chart, so I also think the chart is accurate to the test strip color. These are a really quick and easy way to monitor your pH and see if trouble might be brewing. Very nice. I'd definitely order these again. ... show more
