  • Beautiful, simple design for a great price!
Color: Bronze Size: Full Style: Daybed
We're redesigning our guest room and chose this full-size daybed to act as a bed/extra large couch. We used to have a king-size bed in there but it took up the whole room and didn't match with the rest of the house. Since we don't actually have many guests, I thought this was a great option - and we can add a trundle as well in the future if we need to sleep more people. We're still putting the room together, but we can also let the guest room double as a playroom for our toddler with the extra space now available since we have so few guests. The bed was kind of annoying to put together since there are a lot of parts for the bars that make up the base. But it was overall easy to do and definitely doable by one person in an hour or so. We've lounged on it for several collective hours in the past month that we've had it and we're really enjoying it! We got the Linenspa 8" Memory Foam/Spring hybrid mattress (link below), and while I may not recommend it for an everyday use mattress for several years, it's great for our purposes. You do need to put a few cushy pillows on the back/sides of the bed to be comfortable - definitely not comfortable to just lean against the bars. PROS: - Simple, beautiful design - Price! - Full-size option available for a daybed - Sturdy CONS: - Slightly difficult to put together Mattress: Linenspa 8" Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid Mattress, Full ... show more

  • Super cute & sturdy
Color: White Size: Full Style: Daybed
I will be frank – after looking at some of the reviews, I was kinda skeptical about purchasing this daybed — but after seeing some pictures of this bed, I decided to give it a chance and purchase the full sized daybed. I ordered this product when it was out of stock – but it honestly didn't take long (maybe 1-2 days) until it restocked. Afterwards the item was shipped pretty quickly (was shipped and delivered 2-3 days later)! When I received the package it was pretty heavy (at least for myself, I'm not the strongest person) - but eventually I got the product inside and started on the construction of the bed (bed was constructed in 2 hours with 2 people - including myself). Instructions were clear and easy to understand – there were no dents or scratches when inspecting the items to assemble. There was also no missing pieces (in fact, they give you extra pieces (screws and safety guards for the mattress)). When laying on the daybed it doesn't squeak/make noise whatsoever. It's very sturdy and is all in all super cute! Also, just to add on, it kinda feels somewhat high from the ground – but I love it all the same (the extra storage underneath is super nice and convenient as well). The color is perfect and the style/shape of the headboard/sides of the daybed is just so adorable. Was definitely a great purchase, and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a cute, somewhat cheap daybed! ♡ ... show more

  • Easy and beautiful
Color: White Size: Full Style: Daybed
This bed was easy to build, 2 of us did it in less than an hour. The last step took a good amount of force but the bed looks beautiful in my guest room and is very sturdy

  • Nice bed
Color: White Size: Twin Style: Daybed
Pretty stable and easy to put together with 2 people. I found some questionable parts on the instructions because it didn’t specify which screws to use but we figured it out. I don’t hear any squeaking noise which can happen with day beds and it’s not an issue for me. We’ll see how well it holds up when the family lives in a couple weeks. I liked that the back piece was all one piece compared to a different one I bought was not. ... show more

  • Nice, sturdy, good looking piece of furniture.
Color: White Size: Twin Style: Daybed
I ordered this for my daughter for her apartment and after reading reviews, was concerned that she'd have trouble putting it together. She's 19 and has never put anything like to together before, so I made note of some of the suggestions in case she had trouble. She got it together with no trouble but told me that once it was together, the length from the back to the front was too long so the supports wouldn't fit as they were too short. I thought this was strange and was going to call the company but wanted to wait until I got a chance to see it. Good thing I waited. See, that hardware that so many are complaining about actually serves a purpose. My husband and I went to visit and the first thing I noticed was that the metal hardware was not showing on the front as so many had complained about. That's when I realized that she had put the legs on backward. We took it apart and put it back together properly, (very easy fix by the way) and voila! the rails now fit. Problem fixed. Once we got it all together though we realized that against her very bright white walls, it was getting lost, so we bought some flat black spray paint and painted it. It took about 5 cans. If you decide you want to do that same, make sure you get enough paint so you don't have to send your husband back to the store like we did, (thanks Honey, you're the best!). We put the plastic rail connectors on, which gave the bed some really good support but decided not to put the little plastic things on that fill in the holes, as we figured we'd never be able to remove them and that would make it impossible to take the bed apart. Since my daughter is in college we figure we may have to take this apart to move it in the not too distant future. That being said, it fit though her sliding glass door, fully assembled when I took it outside to spray paint it. I'm not sure why some people had trouble assembling it. My daughter, with the exception of putting the legs on backward which was an easy fix, was able to do it with the instructions provided. A word to the wise though, if the hardware isn't showing on the front, you have the legs on backward. I'd read the reviews about people being upset with the hardware showing, but figured that for the price, for such a sturdy piece of furniture, we'd deal with that, either by deciding it really didn't look that bad, (I had to wait to see it in order to decide) or painting the hardware. Again, for the price, adding in the cost of a little paint isn't a big deal. In the end, we decided to paint the whole thing so for us it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure how long this will hold up. It seems quite sturdy. I'm not a small person and have sat on it without trouble. My daughter is tiny and her roommate isn't large so I doubt they'll put a lot of wear and tear on it. My other daughter and I visited over the weekend and the girls were quite comfy sitting on it and watching a movie. My other daughter slept on it and said the mattress wasn't comfy but that was because of the mattress, not the daybed. We bought a 4 inch, camping type mattress from Mattress firm as my daughter didn't want a thick mattress. So if you're planning to use this regularly as a bed then I'd get a regular mattress, not the 4" one. The 4" is fine though, for using this as a couch, which is what it'll be used for in my daughter's apartment. If she ever decided to use it as a bed on a regular basis I think we'll get a regular mattress. I've included a photo and you can see that we painted this black and dressed it up a little. It looks nice against the white walls. ... show more
