  • good loft bed on a budget
Color: Pink Size: Twin
Our family just bought a new house and wanted to give the kids bedrooms they would love, but we were really on a budget. This loft bed popped up at a good price and had lots of good reviews. Assembly was pretty easy, especially with 2 people; but the hardware does lack a little in quality. Luckily, there are spare parts included so we could replace all the screws that stripped. Other reviewers mention a lot of squeaking, but we do not have any complaints about noise (maybe because ours is on carpet?) It doesn't sit quite as high as I imagined it would, but ultimately it's a good size/height for our 8 year old. As you can see, she still has plenty of room to sit up and not risk hitting her head on the ceiling; and has a decent amount of room underneath for her toys and to just lounge around. I think this bed gave her more space in her bedroom, and overall looks cuter than an average bed. We're very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Perfect height, sturdy, easy to put together
Color: White Size: Twin
I purchsed 2 of these for sisters in a shared bedroom. They work perfectly in this space! Quality: These beds are made from well constructed materials. Any metal bed I have ever seen has been squeaky and wobbly. Not this. The supports seem very sturdy and ther is no shifting when I climb up. No off-gassing or weird smells either. Putting it together: My husband and I put 2 beds together in about 90 minutes. It is STUPID easy. One of the simplest instruction manuals I've seen/used. I would recommend this a two person project though, just to be able to hold parts up when needed, and to go faster. Features: One of the selling points for me was the height. The bed is higher than a standard toddler/junior loft and lower than a sky high loft. I have 8 foot ceilings, so I didn't want to worry about head space. This was perfect. You can see in one photo, how high it is compared to my 5'11" husband. Unfortunately, the GSP dog can jump up, HA! There are 36.5 inches of space under the loft bed, and I can fit those 36 inch tall cube storages systems underneath. We have 8 inch and 10 inch matresses on ours siunce we didn't want to buy new ones, but my kids are older and less prone to rolling off. I would buy a 6 inch mattress for younger kids. ... show more

  • Affordable, cute and functional, but be sure to go over some safety tips with the kiddos.
Color: Black Size: Twin
I wanted a bed for my son that could help me utilize the space in our room better, since right now his room is under construction. I went with this particular bed, because it was the most affordable loft bed with good reviews. What I like: - Affordable - Height is perfect for his 5’2” momma to kiss him goodnight without having to climb up there. - There’s enough space underneath for a desk, in the future when he gets his own room set up. - I’ve slept on it with my son, and it’s very comfortable and supportive. I had no issues knocking out for some rest. (We have a memory foam mattress paired with it Incase you are wondering.) -it’s quiet. A lot of beds like this have reviews that they can be very squeaky or shakey. We are on carpet and it seems to be fine. Things I’m Neutral About: -Set up took a while, but as is expected with many mailed beds of this nature. What I didn’t like: - The only reason I wouldn’t give this the full five stars is, is because within moments of using it my son hit his head on the head of the bed, from just laying down. Granted, he underestimated the amount of space he had to just lay back like that. But the metal to skull sound killed it for me >.< - The ladder is super painful for adults. My son does ask me to go up to read him a story once in a while and I’m a twenty something year old mom so no biggie, I’m still fairly flexible and able (right?). Lord have mercy, the ladder is KILLER on the soles of my feet. It’s SO painful. My son hasn’t complained about it, but he also weighs like 30 pounds. - If you put a bed underneath it, prepare to have some bumps and scratches. As I mentioned, we are sharing a room at the moment and short on space, so we moved my full underneath this twin. I sleep with my legs under the loft bed. I’ve banged my head, mostly upon waking up, hit my arm and scraped my knees with these little grey support pieces underneath the bed. They’re a tad too sharp for my taste. These issues can be resolved with some safety 101 with the kiddo, along with padding, zip ties, and some pool noodles (or at least that’s what I’ve read in the reviews of beds like this). But still, it would be nice if the comfort and safety was as thought out as the function and aesthetic. Perhaps flat ladder steps versus the rods? And some padding at the head of the bed? Some pieces that are a bit less sharp and more dull underneath the bed? As a whole, I’m satisfied. We have had it for a couple of months now. No creaking noises, it looks pretty awesome, my son loves it, and you can’t beat the price. I think I will like it a whole lot better when I’m not sleeping underneath it ☺️. Update *** it’s been one year and bed is holding up great. My son got his own room finally, we added some pool noodles for safety and battery operated string lights underneath and on the rail. No issues! Great investment! ... show more

  • Worth it imo
Color: Silver Size: Full
It’s sturdy! It did take a little minute to put it together and you might need a little help to do it but it’s possible to assemble it alone. When the box was delivered it was heavy, me and my brother had to carry it in. It’s the perfect loft height for those who don’t want a bunk bed to the ceiling or those who have small houses like mine. Unable to put a computer desk under but it’s a nice little cozy spot for a laptop or study area? I will say that for assembly make sure to follow the instructions to the T; one wrong move and you’ll end up going back to almost the beginning to fix it (pay attention to the letters on the bars that was my mistake). Only con is that one of the support bars on the side feels like it’s not as sturdy as the base and head of the bed frame but ultimately I feel like it’s a worthy purchase ... show more
