Kind of easy to put up and the color is a rich dark blue. Very nice quality. Bought 2 beds and my daughter put one up in about 2 hours by herself and I helped for the other. Her boys, both under 10 love them and we put in desks and chairs for homework and gaming. It does sometimes squeak when the boys turn over but that is probably normal. ... show more

Assembly took about 2 hours by myself. It would have gone a little quicker near the end with a second person, but it wasn't too bad. The cross braces for the mattress support don't seem very strong so I cut a half inch plywood Span all of the braces and did not use the gray plastic clips that came with the bed. ... show more

We really like the bed. But it wiggles no matter how much we tighten it. It also came in damaged but my daughter already had her heart set on getting it put up and my dad and brother had already came over to help put it up. So we just dealt with it.
