My son wanted this for his room so he can have extra space in his bedroom since he shares a room with his brother. He loves this bed and he’s going to be getting a monitor for the desk so he can play his games while sitting under his bed. It’s the perfect set up for any kid that needs some extra space in their room. This thing went together really easy I had no issues at all and I put it up all by myself. Everything was packaged very well so it didn’t get scratched up and the instructions were very easy to follow plus it’s pretty sturdy. I’ve put together other beds before and the instructions was a nightmare this one was very easy and straight forward. So I purchased this exact loft bed frame in a FULL size (Black) for myself over a year ago and love it. A great bed for what I needed and I plan on using it for years to come.. I am 26 years old 5'4" and 155lbs and it's sturdy. My nice loved to barge into my loft bed room and come up into my bed so I decided to buy her this one. The twin in silver and she doesn't barge into my room much anymore haha. She loves it. We initially got her a more flimsy loft bed with a lot of shelving but it was too cheep and most of the shelves collected trash. So getting her this exact one was the best choice. She uses her desk for school classes and homework on her chromebook, has come crafts things on the triangular shelving as well as a lamp and some little statues. Because of the extra space in the back we ended up getting her a gigantic bean bag which holds snugly against both of the ladders and gives her enough space to still use her desk. She's 11 years old around 4'5" and 70lbs or so and just like mine it is sturdy as ever. Having the bars up top are also perfect for her to properly surround her with all her massive dragon stuffed animals without them falling off her bed at night. The double ladders are also great so she has two entryways up to her bed one by the bathroom and the other facing the center of the room and the ladder is flat and wide enough that it doesn't hurt her feet like her older one did. Overall we are both very satisfied with these beds, they're easy to assemble but it does take a while to do. I assembled both her TWIN and my FULL on my own with out too much hassle. but again it did take around 1-2 hours. ... show more

Created a lot of floor space and my daughter loves it. The desk is the perfect size for arts and crafts + homework. It does wobble a bit but not much. She’s about 65lbs. No issues with damage or scratches I saw reported with black version. Easy to assemble. Took about 2 hours with 2 people. We recently purchased 2 of these when moving to a new house that had smaller rooms with high ceilings. We did also have to purchase a 6 inch mattress as a standard mattress is too thick for this bed. We love that it has 2 ways up and a desk with a cork board. They are very sturdy and don't make any noise when the kids are getting in or out of bed. You will need 2 people to assemble but my husband did 98% of it by himself. I just had to help in the beginning holding things in place while he screwed pieces together. I'd say it took him around 2 hours each bed. It is a lot of pieces, but we are really satisfied with them. They will definitely hold the kids until well into their teenage years. You must make sure you have high ceilings though as these are really tall beds. We are really happy with these and would 100% order these again. ... show more

Easy to put together, with my husband took less than an hour and a half. No snags, instructions are easy to follow. The box came extremely late and was very damaged, cardboard was ripped open in several places. There was only a few small scuff marks on one pole, not enough to worry about so I blame it on the postal service. The sturdiness of the bed is questionable compared to the other DHP bed that I own. I also have a twin loft with an X shaped frame. It is extremely sturdy and never shakes at all even when I climb it (170 lbs.) Since this one is a full size and has a square corner frame I understand that it would not be quite as solid, but I was hoping for a little better. It bangs on the wall then my 7 yer old climbs it. We carefully tightened the bolts during assembly and we used all the plastic pieces in the correct spots, but I will go back through and retighten today and see if that helps. Also the ladder is metal, of course it hurts to climb, so I will be adding padding to it today. Love this design, this is a total space saver in my kids room. It is a well made product and I will continue to buy from DHP in the future. ... show more
