Put it together myself but recommend two people to speed up assembly. Instructions were very easy to follow and everything was organized/packaged well. No missing pieces but it also comes with an “extras pieces” package in case you misplace any. It’s quite sturdy and a great space saver. Easy to put together, with my husband took less than an hour and a half. No snags, instructions are easy to follow. The box came extremely late and was very damaged, cardboard was ripped open in several places. There was only a few small scuff marks on one pole, not enough to worry about so I blame it on the postal service. The sturdiness of the bed is questionable compared to the other DHP bed that I own. I also have a twin loft with an X shaped frame. It is extremely sturdy and never shakes at all even when I climb it (170 lbs.) Since this one is a full size and has a square corner frame I understand that it would not be quite as solid, but I was hoping for a little better. It bangs on the wall then my 7 yer old climbs it. We carefully tightened the bolts during assembly and we used all the plastic pieces in the correct spots, but I will go back through and retighten today and see if that helps. Also the ladder is metal, of course it hurts to climb, so I will be adding padding to it today. Love this design, this is a total space saver in my kids room. The media could not be loaded. I’m absolutely in love with my bed! I’ve been getting the best sleep ever but that’s also because my mattress is amazing, but I feel like being closer to the ceiling makes me feel more cozy. The assembly was very easy to follow and straight to the point. I definitely needed assistance from one other person and using an electric drill helped tremendously. It took us about maybe around 1 hour to put it all together. I really love how it comes with the desk because now I don’t have to buy a separate desk haha. The ladders are a bit difficult to climb up and down from but not horrible. I’m 5 foot 1 and have small feet, so it’s not too difficult for me but it was for my mom when she tried to go up there. It does not squeak, which I’m super happy about. However, it is a bit shaky and rocks when I’m up there. It helps to have it against a wall in the corner and putting pads to fill the gap between the bed railings and the wall, also helps the bed feel more stabilized. All the pieces were in great condition. No scratches and packed very well. Overall, I’m having a blast decorating my room and my bed. I highly recommend this if you need more space. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The box was long and heavy. I had to drag it in. I was able to set this up pretty fast. Just don't be high or drinking. Once done, the bed it self is very stable and not wobbly. Maybe because I have tile floors. But I don't have any reason to anchor it done. It a little shaky but it's typical for a bunk bed when getting in the bed. But not nothing extremely noticeable. It will probably just need the mattress to weigh it done Just enough. If you worry about your computer falling. Just get a stand that latches on to the desk. ... show more

* EDIT - Included info on desk utilization Moving into a 10.5x10.5 apartment room. Wanted something functional so came up with this idea... this frame and an IKEA Lyckselle full sofa-bed. It BARELY fits... the sofa-bed frame unfortunately rubs up against the inner railings of the loft, but I'm alright with that! (It also stabilized the loft bed frame a bit more!) Product came new in a great condition box. After assembly, there was still a significant amount of space in the room, so mission accomplished! The desk was surprisingly enough for what I needed. I have dual 24" widescreen monitors, with relatively deep stands. Lengthwise, the desk is more than enough to support these screens, with a little bit of angling/positioning for the monitor on the right. (Note, it WILL block the shelves). It's deep enough to support a single mouse and keyboard. I've also mounted a clip-on USB light and clamp-on USB microphone, and it's supporting it very well. It makes for a surprisingly comfortable work/gaming station! I paid extra for delivery AND assembly. For the comments about the condition of the product, the stability or wobbliness of it, or the difficulty in assembly, I CANNOT encourage potential customers enough to pay for the delivery and assembly service. It was a tremendous help. The biggest benefits are immediate disassembly and return if the product is not satisfactory, and the joy of not having to assemble it is SO good. Yeah, it's a bit more ($90 for me) but knowing that if it came second hand, or was missing pieces, was damaged, or not sturdy and I wanted to send it back, it's all taken care of! ... show more
