As you can see in a year the metal split. My 40 lbs 6 year old son was the one who was on top bunk. I can not imagine if my 13 year old son would have been on top. My boys are not rough on their beds at all. This is inferior metal and this should be pulled from the market. If you have purchased this bed. Check it. I have it set for the scrappers. This bed is dangerous and flimsy!! DO NOT BUY!!!! ... show more
