I took a chance on this bedframe, with no reviews or ratings. For the last several years, I have been using the Zinus Raymond walnut bed frame. With uneven floors, and several small pets in the home, I decided to upgrade to a bed frame that has a flat horizontal support across the floor rather than thin legs that wobble and come loose over time. With a support rating of up to 900 pounds, this can certainly hold two humans and several cats/dogs. Our Chihuahuas (pictured) have already claimed it as theirs and have approved of its quality. Unboxing was relatively easy; the bed arrived in three separate boxes with the drawers in their own box, side, rails, in one, and head and footboard in the other. The boxes can easily be brought up stairs or around corners with two people (or one very confident person). It does not wiggle or squeak when you sit down and feels comparable to most furniture gallery bed frames. Assembly, as the only negative point in this review, was absolutely ridiculous. For a bedframe with so many individual parts, the instructions had only 10 steps with extremely vague instructions and minimal visuals. Most of the way through the bedframe, we had to remove and reconfigure a few parts that were already screwed together. Parts were not clear with labeling. I consider myself an expert at assembling this type of furniture and still had issues. Appearance-wise, the coloring is accurate to the photos. All of my other furniture is original mid-century walnut and teak, and the tones match wonderfully with a true classic walnut, and without any grey dark undertones like most MCM replicas tend to pull. True medium-toned wood, not too dark or contemporary ‘espresso’. much higher quality than most assemble-yourself pine wood bed frames. I purchased this frame on a Prime Day deal after waiting for several months to check the prices. I would advise waiting for another sale (I got it half off), but quite frankly it is still worth the full listing price. I definitely think I got a great value and will purchase more pieces from them now that I know how good the quality is. Hope this helps! ... show more
