I bought this for my shower stall. Due to the shape of the stall I was more concerned with dimensions. This one fit well and yes I had to cut some off. I knew I would. It was easy to cut with a regular pair of scissors. Now it fits well the plastic is playable and when I stand on it I feel safe that I won’t slip. The water drains through and from underneath well. I haven’t had it long enough to know about cleaning but it should be simple. It’s made to fit a bathtub and I’m sure it would work well in that setup too. I have good feet: no neuropathy, no diabetes, no sores, no aches and pains. But standing on this mat is so painful I rush through my showers as quickly as possible. Each of those 1-inch squares you see is softy and floppy in the center, which means when you stand on it, the center goes down and the 4 corners go up, making 4 spikes into your foot, per square inch. I kept thinking maybe it would relax somehow, or my feet would toughen up. I've waited seven months for one or the other to happen. That's seven months of short, painful, angry showers. Oh, and the design makes it mildew every few days, so you'll have to launder it frequently. ... show more

Quality is actually good. It’s a little longer than I thought so it basically covers the whole tube. Doesn’t hurt your feet when you stand on it.

Great length to fill the entire tub! The kids dont have to fight over who gets to sit on the mat :) soft and comfortable for them to kneel on as well. The ends are a bit tough to suction down but I think it's just because it was rolled up and will hopefully flatten out.

I'm in an apartment with an old tub which has a worn out finish, making the tub very hard to clean as it absorbs footprints, etc instantly... Keeping this tub looking nice is backbreaking work So I had to have a mat. I had other mats but they were hard to clean and not long enough to avoid putting dirty feet on the roughened tub surface. This one Just right, feels great under the feet and it's also a decent cushion for taking a soak. It's easy to clean as long as you clean it often enough. Any tub mat is going to get mildew underneath if you ignore it. We're now in the habit of rolling up the mat after a shower and it stays nice and maintenance free. I was afraid it wouldn't stick to the worn out finish on my tub But the suction power is much better than I expected. Plus it looks great. Very pleased with this purchase ... show more
