  • all four work right out of the box
Style: 2 Remote+4 Sockets
I am using these to control ceiling lights in my cellar which is used as a storm shelter and the laundry room where the trap door to the cellar is. With the two remotes, the lights can be quickly controlled from either location. You don't always have lots of time to cross rooms to inconveniently located switches in tornado alley. The one thing I will consider doing now is adding LED lights with battery backup because there are frequently power outages during storms where I live . Both remotes and all four light sockets were pre-programmed and worked out of the box. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • One socket needs reprogramming
Style: 1 Remote+3 Sockets
Works well. I had to reprogram one socket like 3 times which is a little annoying. Not sure why it stops working.

  • These are great, no body contortions needed to turn lights on or off.
Style: 1 Remote+3 Sockets
A few years ago my hubby had a CVA and no longer has use of his right arm. These are perfect, to install these just remove the two lightbulbs of each table lamp, screw in the auto on adapter then place the lightbulbs back into each table lamp. The remote control works excellently, you can turn both lamps on or off simply by tapping the “ALL ON,” or “ALL OFF.” If you only want one lamp on then you push numbered buttons 1 through 4. We had similar for my mother as she aged, they to were perfect; however, I feel this brand has improved over the years. Yes I would highly recommend these simple lights-on for those with a disability especially. ... show more

  • These work right out of the box - but that’s not immediately stated in the instructions!
Style: 2 Remote+4 Sockets
These work great right out of the box, but the printed instructions that came with mine instruct the user on how to pair each socket to the remotes - no need! Each socket is numbered (1-4) but the instructions don’t mention this. All I needed to do was pull the tabs out from the remotes (to activate the batteries in each one) and I was all set. One thing to keep in mind is that these will add to the length of your bulb, keep that in mind if you’re thinking about using these inside lamps where the bulbs are angled sideways, about 2 1/4” ... show more

  • Exactly what we wanted!
Style: 1 Remote+3 Sockets
We have a detached garage. For years, my husband wanted to be able to turn on the lights outside on this garage without walking all the way out there, raising the garage door, flipping on the light switch, lowering the door and walking all the way inside. Then, we would have to do the reverse each AM to turn them off. He stumbled upon these and they are PERFECT! We can push a button on the controller and they flip on. Push a button in the AM to turn them off. They are so easy to use. I will say that I wish the range was a little better. We have to walk outside about 20 ft away for the controller to work. But, it's not a problem at all. We did read that these were for "indoor use" only after the box arrived in the mail. We wanted to try them anyway outside and so far they are perfect for our needs. Hope they hold up with exterior moisture and temperature changes. So far, they have been fine with hot, humid and rainy, GA summer. ... show more

  • I love these things, until they stop working
Style: 2 Remote+4 Sockets
So first off, these made my setup in the basement way better. I no longer have to walk over to each light and individually pull a string to turn on my lights. Unfortunately, not only do they misfire from time to time, but #1 just suddenly died on me about 3 months. I ditched #4 since it is my least used light and am now confusing the family because they keep hitting 1 thinking it will work and the of course there is 4. Now, 4 randomly decides not to turn off with the all on\all off button sometimes so I am thinking that 4 is on it's way out soon too. In concept these things are great, but the reliability of them isn't so great. Only other complaint I have is that I wish like all other products like these, the remotes would come with rings so you can hang them off of nails by doorways. I am still trying to find a way to wall mount the remotes. NOTE to those saying that these aren't labeled, mine totally are. It has the number on the grey sticker. Not sure if it is just mine, but assuming other people just didn't take the time to examine these 100%. When I first bought these, I considered getting a second set for when the day came that one died, but considering it stopped working after only 3 months, I am way more weary of a repeat purchase. I love everything about these, but if they aren't going to work, they are as good as a ripped sticker. ... show more
