The FLEXVOLT 60V MAX 7-1/4-inch Cordless Worm Drive Style Saw with FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX 6.0 Ah battery features optimized line of sight with a left side blade and the handle positioned at the rear of the saw. It makes smooth, accurate cuts with a durable, high-grade magnesium shoe, and DEWALT FLEXVOLT Circular Saw delivers long runtime with an efficient brushless motor. An electronic brake helps stop the blade after the trigger is released. Bevel capacity is 53-degree with stops at 45 degree and 22.5 degree. This Cordless Worm Drive Style Saw cuts to a depth of 2-7/16-inch at 90-degree. It includes a rafter hook for added convenience. This tool is also Tool Connect Tag-Ready so you can easily track it by attaching a Tool Connect Tag (Tag sold separately.) Very powerful. Cuts thru joists and LVL's like they were paper. Very happy with saw though the tool and batteries are expensive. If your a homeowner I'd get something smaller and cheaper but if your a pro it's Def worth it if your framing with heavy lumber.

I don't do a lot of construction so this saw is probably more heavy-duty than I need. It's a bit heavy and definitely needs to have both hands on the saw all the time. Having to pop out the diamond-shaped cutouts in the blades is also a little bit of a nuisance. It's definitely more accurate than my old corded saw.     • Clean cutting!
I am a 71 year old female and felt that this is the most well balanced saw I've every owned. Clean cut (which is due to a good blade) but great power. Sawing old treated lumber requires power, I'd even tackle aged locust with this saw.

    • Solid, Easy to Use, Powerful
First...I don't know why I waited so long to go with a western, worm drive style saw. The set up is just so much more natural than a top handle eastern style saw. Easier to see the cut line and keep it on line. Your force is going straight down the middle line of the saw because the handle is behind rather than on top of the saw blade. This saw seems built like a tank, as it should be for one aimed at professional framers and builders. The shoe is a nice thick casting (Mg alloy I assume), the shell feels like top quality, the blade comes with the saw and is decent quality and produces a nice finish so far. My one gripe is not with the saw, but with DeWalt...they have become nickel and dimers and seem determined to piss off loyal customers. The saw does not include a rip fence of the plastic dust attachment (sold separately.) Saw is heavy for a cordless, but that’s to be expected with a worm drive style saw. It is by far the best and most powerful cordless saw I have used. You will not regret the purchase!

This saw is just as powerful as a corded saw! It works awesome and I’m very happy with its results as of now! I’ve used it to frame up a pole barn, and do a home remodel! I HIGHLY recommend this tool!
