  • Amazing
Size: X-Large
This sweater work great, I work in chilled areas and this comes in handy helps me stay warm. Great purchase!!

  • Runs small but overall a must have!
Size: X-Large
Just like the title says… These do seem to sun a size smaller… as originally I had gotten a large and even without the battery it definitely felt a bit more snug, had shorter length/sleeves and this was right out of the box without being washed yet… So, I returned it and got the XL. In regards to the appearance I would say my personal complaint is the “battery pocket” located on the left rear (southwest corner) of the sweatshirt (which I don’t use do to the location and not so ease of battery access when wearing the sweatshirt…) but other than that it definitely looks nice! Now, as for the use of the battery I had decided to use the inside front pocket which is way easier to swap out batteries when needed… Well, as for comfort it’s a sweatshirt that is a bit on the thicker/heavier side for material which is nice for keeping warm with or without using the battery heating feature! I am in the electrical field (construction) so for me this was a must have for staying warm when in colder conditions and for the price it’ll definitely pay for itself after a few hours of use! As for being “water resistant” ehhh as with clothing in reality it may stop some drop but if it down pours well… then it becomes more “water absorbing”! Again, overall in my personal opinion this is a must have! ... show more

  • The battery is bulky but it works very well
Size: X-Large
A must have in the south winters the jacket is plenty warm enough for 40 to 60 degrees with light wind. 30 to 40 turn on high for about 5 minutes and you are sweating….

  • Fantastic
Size: XX-Large
My husband is elevator mechanic, new construction. He is outside or in unfinished buildings most of the time. He is currently working on a building that is right next to Lake Michigan. The cold winds are brutal. He LOVES this jacket. It keeps him warm and he has all the battery chargers at work. Im glad he is finally cozy warm. Added: We have had this jacket over a year and I wash in the washer. Obviously removing all parts it says too. I hang dry the jacket and do dry not dry it the the dryer. It is a very heavy sweater like jacket (comparable to carhartt sweater jackets) it obviously gets very warm. Pros: This is cotton hoodie which is very flexible especially in my line of work. I prefer this over the jacket material. It stays very warm if it’s below 20 degrees I need to wear this and my carhartt jacket. Cons: The battery can slide off easy but a rubber band holds It together. ... show more

  • Dewalt quality at its finest!
Size: Small
Bought this jacket for my significant other. She loved the jacket. It was extremely warm and had the warmers in all the right sections you’d want. Fit really well and was a heavy jacket. The modes are in a convenient location and easy to switch back and forth. Only downside is the battery pouch I think is a little small. I only used the 1.0aH batteries for the jacket and once you plugged it in, it got kind of bulky in the pouch it was supposed to fit in. Also, depending on the frame of the wearer, it could be lopsided. I don’t think the cons would be enough for me to want to stay away though. Definitely a great purchase for someone who’s always cold but wants/needs to get things done. ... show more

  • Great quality Hoodie as is with all DeWalt products
Size: X-Large
Great quality Hoodie as is with all DeWalt products. Battery bulk can be a problem. I found the 12V doesn't last long and I settled with the 2ah 20v Max. I get 4hrs easy (may last longer) and not not a bulky battery bulldog from the back left battery pocket.

  • Does NOT work with 12v batteries
Size: X-Large
1 star because the discription falsely states that the jacket works with 12v batteries. Only works with 20v which are very bulky especially combined with the thick power adapter. Giving you a 2"x 3"x 5" brick you have to carry around. If you could use the smaller 12v packs it wouldn't be so bad. Also there's no battery gauge on the jacket, it relays on the battery gauge that only comes on the newer 50 dollar a piece battery packs. I only have the older DeWalt packs that don't have the gauge. I might return and get the Milwaukee jacket. You can get four battery packs for 40 bucks and they're half the size ... show more

  • Inferior to Milwaukee heated apparel.
Size: XX-Large
I have A couple Milwaukee brand heated coats and wanted to get A DeWalt heated hoodie since I have all DeWalt tools, and I liked the idea of using 20 volt battery, and also because you can locate battery in multiple places. Once I received DeWalt heated hoodie I was amazed of the low quality and bad design. The control is located 8nside of coat making it hard to tell if it's on and if you want to adjust temp selection. Plus it is easily turned off by bumping coat. Looking into where the battery goes you can see all the loose wiring and heater element, there is no way safe to completely wash when it's dirty. The instructions says no wash machine, hand wash only. When DeWalt heated hoodie is on the high setting it didn't come close to how warm my Milwaukee heated coat & hoodie are when on high, I would honestly compare the heat output of the DeWalt on high the same as Milwaukee on the medium setting. I am not hear to bash DeWalt, all of my cordless tools are DeWalt and I am extremely happy with them.(the reason I choose to purchase DeWalt heated hoodie) the Milwaukee heated coat & Hoodie I have were given to me as gifts 2 years ago, and they still work and look good today. I do wear them often living in Wisconsin and being A commercial HVAC/R service tech puts me in the cold winter outdoor environment 4 months of the year. I was so disappointed in this that I actually returned it. If DeWalt would fix those few things I mentioned and improved the heating output this would be A winner. At this point skip this and do yourself A favor and look towards Milwaukee heated gear. At least until DeWalt improves their Heated Gear. ... show more
