I work in a warehouse in Texas that is not temp regulated and was desperate for a way to stay cool. This vest does the trick however the ice packs don’t have a seal so they leak really easily once it starts melting and the Velcro is already tearing after a week. The vest itself is fine, but every bag leaked out the top corner as soon as they were filled. The hole in the seam was almost as big as the water inlet. Update: I've decided to give this item five stars instead of three despite the defective bags because the seller took extreme interest in my item and offered to make ammedns for the inconvenience even though I did not dorectly reach out to the company. Even with only 4 ice packs, this vest weighs a great deal! It is a tradeoff because it does seem to keep me cooler than without the vest. There was an area where the trim was not sewn properly and I would have returned it but needed it for a job. When the ice packs melt they sweat which makes my short wet. Some of the packs were filled too full (my mistake). If I get more packs, I'll be more careful filling them so they are not a bulky and weigh a bit less. ... show more

As a dasher this works for me. I use real water ice cubes and not their nontoxic bags. I refill the vests pockets when the ice melts. They are kept in ice bags made for aches, which work very well in combination with the vest. I can't think of any improvement for the vest. I will stay cool. We live in Arizona, where the summers are HOT! I bought these as a test for staff who are outside - playground aides etc. These made all the difference! Though it was still hot, the ice - especially in the back pockets really helped people feel cooler. The ice packs are a little tricky to fill and freeze at first so follow the directions. Also, use the bubble wrap pouches. A few bags leaked after time, but additional bags were provided. We ended up buying more for the staff. Thank you PTO! ... show more
