I bought the Dewalt 7 1/4 inch 60V circular saw last year around Christmas. It was on sale at my local Home depot and it came with one 60V 9 ah battery. I use the saw on a daily basis and the battery would last most of the morning. So I decided to buy another battery. I looked at the 6 ah, 12 ah and the 15 ah and decide to stick with the 9 ah. Glad I did. With both batteries I can work all day with just 2 batteries. I also had to buy the 8 amp quick charger because the 6 amp charger that came with the saw just wouldn't charge the batteries fast enough. The 8 amp charger charges this battery in about 90 minutes. Now the reason I chose the 9 ah was the weight to power ratio. The 6 ah batteries weight almost the same with a little less power and the 12 and 15 ah batteries weigh considerably more. The 9 ah battery weighs enough as it is. Also for the price it was the best choice. I read the reviews about these batteries being junk and not lasting but I have had no problems. Maybe they just got a bad battery. I have used these batteries until all of the lights have gone out on the power indicator. Great batteries for the money. ... show more

I own several, ok, a lot, of Dewalt battery operated tools, including a push mower. The mower is great and does a good job mowing our medium sized back yard. Where do these batteries come in? The 10 Ah batteries that came with the mower are not very good, with one of them going bad before the end of year 2. We got by using different sized batteries for that one, until the second battery starting discharging early in a mow. These Flexvolt 9 Ah 20v/60v Max batteries are great. They are not quite as large as the 10 Ah batteries, but are about the same physical size, and fit the mower perfectly. They are not cheap, however, even though they are less than the 10 Ah ones, which are ridiculous. They mow the yard and have more than 50% charge left on them, giving us enough power to get the close up parts of the front lawn mowed. The rest is done on a riding mower. I would recommend these batteries to anyone needing to replace their 10 Ah batteries, which seem to have issues. ... show more

They're expensive but honestly the only batteries you should buy for your heavy DeWalt tools. I've purchased the knock offs and they don't last at all. You're better off spending a little more now rather than repeat cost of the junk batteries.

I have bought others of these on Ebay, and one of these on Amazon, before, both of which WERE NOT by authorized resellers, and one was a straight up phony, too light, wouldn't register, bad discoloration on the case, etc . .
