Description

Our 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator can run on any one of three power sources for maximum versatility: 20V MAX battery, 12V DC, or 110V AC. Use it on the jobsite, or on the go. It features a high-pressure rubber hose for durability. The threaded chuck and included onboard accessories make it easy to inflate items from tires to footballs. Setting desired air pressure is simple with the digital gauge, and the auto-shutoff provides accurate inflation. The high-volume hose allows fast inflation of mattresses and other inflatables with the push of a button. Move the hose to the deflation port for quick and easy take down. An onboard LED light helps to provide illumination in dark spaces. Heavy-duty rubber feet help reduce walking while in use. Battery, charger, and AC power adapter sold separately.

A recent slow leak prompted this purchase and I'm so happy I pulled the trigger. Being a DeWalt Dad meant I already had the batteries and am happy with the quality of their products. I was considering buying the AC adaptor, but unless you're inflating a lot of tires at one location, don't bother. I haven't run the battery flat yet, so can't comment on the life, but the unit inflated my 17" tires by 5psi in around 20 seconds. Super easy to use and the brass fitting is threaded so no need to push and hold in place like those horrible gas stations hoses. Turn it on, attach hose, set PSI, push play button. Auto shuts off when inflated. It even gives you a half PSI over to account for unscrewing the fitting. Genius! I can't believe I didn't buy one sooner. Knowing I save $2.50 with every use is so satisfying. Comes with attachments for other applications. Compact, sturdy, powerful, light weight, work horse. Buy it now. ... show more

Had this for almost 4 years now and I can say it's an absolute life and lung saver. I've used it on everything from tires to kids pools, balls, floats, mattresses etc. There is an added cost for the AC plug and, of course, batteries, and even a case of you want it need one. I got the AC plug and normally only use the car plug and not batteries. Battery use is okay but, understandably, they die quick if the voltage gets low or when they get hot. I keep this in my trunk along with a plug kit and it's been used hundreds of times for my tires. Where I work there's screws and nails always all over the place. I purchased a new vehicle in 2021 that came with extremely low profile tires and while I loved the overall look, I didn't realize that when I lose tire pressure, I don't have much time before my car is sitting on the rim. I know this is not going to fix the tire but it will give me peace of mind when I can air the tire up and get me to a tire shop to get the tire patched. This also works great when the temperature change and I need to air up the tires to match what the computer in my car tells me the PSI should be at. The fact that I can just set the PSI to what I need and let the compressor run till it reaches the desired pressure is an awesome feature and the gauge that's incorporated into the unit is spot on since I always double check with a manual gauge after the the unit is done pumping. I've had the unit just short of 1.5 years and with a 5ah battery attached, it runs forever. Will probably be gifting at least a couple of these to both my brother in law and my boss. ... show more

The unit itself its a GREAT product and I have nothing negative to say about it. THe batteries are the weak link. Charger doesnt snap, it just sits with gravity. No idea why one would do this as its VERY easy to slip off the charger with just a little nudge.

I've had several different types of the "auto inflat" tire pumps from different manufacturers. Each of the other pumps had some variation of D/C power. This is the first model I've had that has a 20volt battery, not to mention D/C & A/C as other options. The pump was very easy to take out of the box and set up for use. The rotary dial is easy to use to set up your desired pressure and the start/pause button switch seems to be off good quality. The only pump issue I noticed was when I was inflating my tires, the pump likes to vibrate and dance on the concrete floor. It does not moon walk, but it definitely does the jitter bug. Thicker feet would definitely round out this unit and be a welcomed addition. The only big hold out for myself and I'm sure some others, is that beside purchasing this unit, you also need to purchase a battery, get the largest you can afford, and a way to charge the battery. DeWalt makes it easy with some combo packages and it's a long term investment, not an impulse,use once buy. So far, this investment has worked well and had no problems inflating my UHP tires to 44psi. It inflated quick and easily. The actual pump generates allot of heat, enough to warm up the high pressure hose. All in all I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who wants to make an investment in keeping your tires safe. ... show more

I can't wait until airless tire technology matures and we don't have to deal with monitoring tire pressure constantly. Until then, this tire inflator works well. It is pretty easy to turn on, set the pressure, and start. it is fast. You can set it and it will inflate until the desired pressure is reached and it will turn off. It also has an option of lower pressure/larger volume for inflating large items like mattresses, pools, etc. The cordless feature is great for small garages with limited outlets or when you are on the road. It also has a 12 V cigarette lighter plug. Some small recommendations would include improving its base for better balance, and including a light.
