    • Nice Desk But It Is A Two Piece Desk Top
Size: 60'' Color: Black
This review is for the 60" model. I ordered this desk because I was under the impression that it was a one piece desktop. From the photos of the desktop without the cover there is no seam visible and shows as one piece. This is incorrect. The top goes together in two pieces with a metal bar support underneath to hold them together. This should be noted in the description. Other than that this desk seems to be well made. Assembly took about twenty minutes and even included the tools necessary to complete the job. The included mouse pad lays flat and covers the visible seam and is a nice addition although I would have preferred the solid dark surface considering the desk is placed in a area of my home where it will be visible to others and really doesn't go with our furnishings. The desk is large and easily holds my 49" ultra wide screen display as well as speakers, keyboard, and mouse. The included stand/USB hub is nice as well. Currently I am using it to power my wireless charger. As for what I would change, it would be nice it there were more provisions for cable management on the bottom back of the desk. I hate visible wires and go out of my way to make them not so visible. This was handled with 3M commercial duty double sided tape, wire tie cable mounts, and wire ties. I mounted my surge suppressor/ power strip underneath the table top and wire tied the power cord down the back of the table leg. I then tied up my display port , USB, and speaker cables tight underneath along with my power cords. The result is no visible wiring seen. Overall I will give this desk five stars as it does look nice and serves a purpose. It seems to be pretty well made and should hold up to my usage. The mistake on the two piece design is my fault and I should have investigated further. Just be warned that what you appear to see in the photos without the mouse pad are not what you are going to get. ... show more

    • Desks on a budget but use caution

First of all, I’ve been assembling a lot of furniture (new apartment) and this was by far the most difficult and annoying one. The instructions were very confusing and I’m one to follow the instructions but the instructions actually made it more difficult to put together because it will have you put parts together that you shouldn’t yet til later on. It does come with the equipment you “need” but if you have a drill and a hammer. You’ll probably need it. Also the pictures are misleading it’s a lot shorter (vertical) and longer (horizontal) than we expected for where we wanted to place it, but our fault for not double checking the measurements. ... show more

    • Strong spacious desk for working from home

I normally work in an office. I have been working from home for a while now due to the pandemic. I was working in whatever area was free and clear for the day, but I was finding that it was hard to focus. I bought this desk so I would have a designated workspace. First let's talk about the assembly process- The instructions were easy to follow for the most part. The assembly was done in three parts (top shelf, legs and tabletop in that order). The tabletop was the most challenging part to assemble in my opinion, because it was difficult to hold the three pieces together while putting in the screws. That issue is probably solved by having someone there with you to help you. Now let's talk about the desk itself- I bought smallest size (43 inch). I was worried that it would not be as roomy as I wanted. No trouble there because it is actually very spacious. Even with a lot of supplies and material on top, there is enough room to move and arrange things comfortably. The desk also holds up very well. On the top shelf I have 3 separate stacks of 8x11 books and papers, stacked the long way across. The shelf is holding up well. There is no signs of buckling or bending on the shelf at all. The table top itself also has a bunch of tech equipment and books on it too. There is no bending or buckling on the tabletop either. In fact, the whole desk is super strong. It's not wobbly or shaky at all. I also like the material that the shelf and tabletop are made of because, in addition to being strong, it is also water resistant and easy to clean, just wipe with cloth. The desk is a little bit taller than what I expected (height from floor to tabletop), but I think that is due to my own miscalculation. That doesn't really bother me because I was able to fit a small rolling cart underneath for more storage. One last detail I like is that the legs have gliders so my floor doesn't get scratched. Overall, I give this desk a thumbs up. I have about as much space as I would have had if I were at the office in my cubicle. Plus, it seems strong enough that I will be able to use it way after returning to work in the office. ... show more

Directions seemed a little out of order to me. Screws that came with this are awful. And it came with a scratch, thankfully it was on the back of the shelf piece. All in all this desk is what I expected. Its not amazing quality but it does the job and looks good in my small corner.

    • Sturdy desk that is fairly easy to assemble

The desk surface ships in two pieces. As long as you line up surfaces before tightening down the screws, the included full-surface mouse pad makes it impossible to tell where the seam is. It feels very sturdy, and I appreciate the extra bit of depth that this offers compared to others I had looked at. I didn't end up using the cup holder, but rather hang my reusable bottle on one end of the headphone hanger. Overall, I'd recommend this desk to anyone looking for up to a triple monitor gaming setup, though I'd recommend mounting them. One or two is fine with the stand attached ... show more
