Great quick disconnects for home brewing! I used these for my all grain beer brewing system, to make quick disconnect lines for quickly changing lines between my transfer pump, mash and steap water kettles. Fittings connect together nicely and seal well.

    • O rings in the female end of the coupler fall out easily

The o-rings fall out very easily, and if you lose one it will not make a seal and you'll leak wort or water everywhere...if it's hot it could be dangerous!

So far this is a game changer for brewing beer. I have been brewing all grain for over a decade, and one thing that used to drive me crazy was the tubing hanging off of my mash/lauter tun and my brew kettle. Install took all of three minutes, most of which was finding the right wrench for the job. Easy to clean and sterilize. The only “gotcha” is that you need to remember this is metal and when you push hot liquid through it the connectors get hot (duh). ... show more
