I have a permanent retainer that has been the bane of my existence for the past 17 years. It's so hard to keep clean and those dumb little floss threader things never work for me. These tools exceeded my expectations. They feel super sturdy and there is a good selection of tips. I was able to clean the space between my retainer and bottom teeth so well that it felt like I'd just gone to the dentist. I was able to easily remove tarter that had built up on the back of my lower teeth. I even set one of the tools aside to use on my senior dog's teeth and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. These tools are super, super sharp, though, so you need to be very careful. I wouldn't recommend using them on kids teeth if you can't trust them to sit perfectly still. The sharpness is what makes them so effective, though. Big fan. ... show more

The only thing I can say against the kit is that the case is a little stiff and can be a little bit hard to close if you are not paying attention to the zipper tab. Since receiving the package I've used a couple times. The items are sturdy. But when I used the tooth scraper it left gray marks so the stainless seems to be of low quality. I had a set purchased several years ago that did not leave marks but lost the set. The package is as advertised and the seller sent quickly. Seems the items are manufactured but not really sharpened? The tips are protected with a plastic tube material to avoid damage in shipping. Takes an effort to remove the protection tubes. ... show more
