    • Sturdy and easy to hold
First I am not a dental professional, just a person who felt rough spots on her teeth. I'm not sure what a good tool should look like. This tool is very sturdy and easy to hold. The tips, especially the narrower one is sharp but I had no problem using it gently. I would like a flatter surface somewhere on the tool to scrape the back of my teeth but the curved surfaces are good for getting between the teeth and along the gum line. My dentist has a new hygienist every time I visit. Some do a really thorough job, others not so much. I figure as long as I am gentle I can get the trouble spots without a return visit.
