Ok do not throw away the manual becuase it helped me so much! before you buy it, buy AA batteries becuase it doesnt come with it. The CD I bought keeps playing the first song over and over but that just might be me since im still figuring on how to work with it. My tips are: 1. Dont throw away the manual (It will help you) 2. The CD will only work with the headphones provided to you 3. it wont work with Mp3 cd's ... show more

I've been using this CD player for a little over a year now and its fantastic. I don't use it nearly as much as I should but cause I don't have rechargeable batteries I've stuck to blue booth. Aside from that the CD player very well made. On my trip to work I am walking and going up and down curbs, taking long flights of stairs, and on very bumpy busses. In all that the CD player almost never skips and when it does its more likely on the CD's instead. It doesn't really drain the batteries, but I don't think it was intended for the 2.5hr trips I take to and from work. The headphones it comes with are a little uncomfortable for me but I had another set so that wasn't really and issue. The sound control is great as well. I can make it either really loud or low which is great when I'm trying to ignore or listen in on what the homeless people are rambling about on the bus while i listen to Faetooth, Three Days Grace or some other band and reading some book like This is How You Loose A Time War or the Overlord Light Novels. Overall good CD player would recommend. (Also it has a smooth surface to put stickers on!!) ... show more

Had an initial functioning issue with this CD. Kept getting 'ER' msg. Emailed Service Deluxe Products. The next day! I rec'd response with suggestions to try and offer to replace the CD if not satisfied. A defective product.. My response sent a new replacement to me~ no questions asked. "Thanks for letting us get it right!" WOW! Had an issue (my fault) with the second player. Another email. Their response came again the very next day. Service Deluxe Products" (Phil) shocked & offered suggestion (ck. batteries).. .all fixed. Works great. I used this player without issues for about a year then it just stopped working. Not worth trying for warranty. For next unit I went for a player with 4 1/2 stars - avoided the ones with four stars.

I wanted to wait until I was home to review it proper, but I bought this for a four hour flight and it worked beautifully! It survived tsa, both of my flights, and a few hikes, all on one pair of batteries (INSANE). It can take a beating too - I would run with it in my hand and it didn't impact the quality either. Only things I'd warn about are - sometimes the cd whirring is audible, and supply your own ear buds! The provided ones are awfully large for my ear and actually made them ache ... show more

Bought this to replace my other portable cd player which goes through batteries like crazy, and is just loud. This CD player is very good for how cheap it is! The buttons work well. Battery life seems decent, and the design is very sleek. This player also plays my burned disk with little to no issue (the laser is able to read them right away, which has been a problem with other CD players I've had). Additionally, the machine is fairly quiet when running. It only made a little bit of noise at first use. Having a player that isn't loud is so important as I plan on using this in public spaces on my college campus while studying. cons: There are two cons I'd like to point out. 1) The headphones that come with the player have pretty bad audio quality, however I was sort of expecting this, and it's an easy fix if you have a pair of better sounding headphones/earbuds. 2) The 'glossy' cover is very prone to finger prints and scratches, which is the only reason I'd recommend looking into another design. (I do have the black one, so I'm not sure how much of an issue this is with the other color options). ... show more
