    • Great Bang for the Buck!
The good: Did a lot if searching and this seemed to be the best option for the price. Bought fir mynikdest who is going off to college soon and didn't want to spend 2k so went this route instead. With an i7, 16 gigs or RAM, and a 522Gb M.2 hard drive, it's gotbokenty of juice for her computing and digital art needs. Had to drop another $80 on a Dell stylus but well worth it. The Bad: Although it does come with 16Gb of SK Hynix DDR4 RAM, it's in the firm of a single DIMM instead of 2 which limits the speed and performance a bit as single Chanel memory. The battery seems to go pretty fast. I'm guessing it's the original battery and for the price it's fine. A new Delk replacement is less than $75 so that's ojay too when the time is needed. The 1st one we received had 4 golf ball sized anomalies on the screen in the firm of dark patches. Returned to get a perfect one back so no issues there. I'd just keep an eye out for this. s Since it is a 2 in 1, the screen was pretty important to my daughter since she'll be using it for her digital art among other screen intensive workloads. So keep your eyes peeked incase you get the same. To Sum it Up: It's a great buy for the price and both the memory and M.2 hard drive can be upgraded easily by unscrewing the 10 permanently attached screws on the back cover. 2 DDR4 Memory DIMM slots and 1 M.2 slot available for upgrades. ... show more

Almost new, very few signs of wear on case. Keyboard and screen are like new. Battery 100%. Upgraded to Win 11 no problems. Has 16G of RAM installed in one of two memory slots, so upgrading memory to 32G is no problem. Very happy with this purchase.

My battery stopped carrying a charge 6 months after purchase. I have noticed several others also saying the same thing. The seller is refusing to fix or replace. They know what they are doing. For those of you here who bought, I suggest reporting the seller to Amazon so they cannot continue selling through them. I will be doing the same. ... show more

This worked great and was the size and specs I was looking for, but was very disappointed that about 10 keys wouldn't register when pressed, or had to be pressed hard and multiple times. This was a renewed unit and I ended up returning it due to the keyboard issues. You would think the keyboard would have be thoroughly tested. ... show more

    • Everything is great, except for the battery life.
The laptop itself is a nice little work machine, it looks nice, and it feels even better, it is lightning fast and the touchscreen is a beauty. The batter is absolutely horrible, it lasts about an hour, I find this to be extremely disappointing.

Right up front, I'm reviewing a Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 with an I7, and I am vendor-agnostic. The unit that I'm reviewing came from a recent Woot! purchase, which may or may not reflect the vendor in this thread. The laptop that I received was marketed as "scratch and dent" but was, in fact, cosmetically flawless. The only complaint I would have is that that the battery was: A) low-capacity and B) 3 years old Lithium-Ion batteries only survive ~500 full charge cycles, which for must users works out to about 2 years of service. In this case, the service tag for the system I received told me the laptop is/was just shy of 3 years old. I would expect the battery to be shot , and a cost-saving measure refurbishers are unlikely to replace shot batteries. At the age and price-point of these systems, you should assume that you'll need to incur the extra cost of a new battery. Additionally, the replacement long-capacity battery for this laptop is both cheap and super easy to replace if you have the correct screwdriver. The laptop itself legitimately runs Windows 11, is fast, and features an amazing touch screen. Additionally, the system is easily upgraded to 32GB of RAM in addition to pretty much the NVME drive of your capacity choice. If you're willing to make the effort to replace the battery, this purchase is a no-brainer. ... show more
