I was a little unsure about purchasing a renewed computer but I am quite happy with my decision. My old computer was very slow but this one was setup quickly and is much faster. I use it for e-mail, some internet surfing and some general record keeping and it is perfectly fine for that purpose. No gaming so can't offer an opinion on how that would go. Still getting used to Windows 11 but seems OK so far. I gave three stars for gaming and three for tech support only because I never used them but overall five stars. ... show more

  • Just a workstation, not upgradable
My roommate bought this PC, but I've noticed some issues. So, this PC works very serviceably as a workstation for general office tasks. It has 16 gigs of DDR4 ram, which has started to become the standard for modern software demands. The CPU has integrated graphics, so you can even get some very light games to run, but with only 6 performance cores and no efficiency cores, it is hard pressed to play anything that has any real graphical demands. Again, a workstation. Now for my real issue with this PC: you can't upgrade it without a lot of work. We wanted to toss a new GPU (an old 3060) into it to take some rendering load off of the CPU so it could run some games better, but the Power Supply is incredibly small (i think 180w) and doesn't support the added power draw. This should be fine, one would think you could just upgrade the PSU, but no, the motherboard is proprietary and board power is a weird custom 8 pin arrangement (instead of a standard 24pin). You can try to find an adapter to plug in a bigger psu, but you're just as likely to burn something out. In summary, if you plan to buy this PC as a cheap system and then upgrade it, look elsewhere. It's not worth the effort, and you'd be better served building a system from scratch. If you're just looking for a throwaway workstation that you'll put no real demands on, this should work. ... show more
