The touchpad is a nightmare! Dell attempted fixing & replacing parts multiple times. Never worked right out of the box. Dell & Amazon refuse to take responsibility. I'll NEVER buy a Dell product again. This laptop was suppose to be brand new and top of the line. Buy an Apple and save yourself.

This is my fourth computer ever. I’ve had a Mac, an hp and some others. This has been the best one. It is very fast and is perfect for my needs. I work full time on it and am an online student so this thing does get worked. The resolution isn’t 4K but it’s ok. The audio sounds like it pops a lot. And it’s kinda fragile. I have a small dent on the top and I’ve babied this thing. The fan is also super loud. But, the processor is great and is a very aesthetically pleasing computer. ... show more

Even though the screen is LCD it has an LED look to it. The QHD 2560 X 1600 is very stunning to look at. It beats my previous 1900 X 1080 resolution screen by a very measurable amount. Even though I read a couple of reviews that said the speakers popped, mine haven't popped at all. On the sound, in order to get high definition surround sound you have to download the Wavesmaxx audio pro software. Dell has this capability built into their computers, but they evidently forgot to include the software with this computer to be able to use it. I had to do a web search to find the software. Seems every bit as fast as my last computer that also had a AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 16 GB of RAM. Operation of computer is very quiet with no fan noise. The FHD webcam is very clear and comes with software that among other things makes the camera follow you when you move left or right. The case is made of aluminum and has a very high quality feel to it. Since I downloaded the wavesmaxx audio pro, I do find that the sound is high definition audio with surround sound. And by the way, not only does it come with Dell premium support it comes with Dell Migrate software that allows you to transfer all your files & data from old computer to new. ... show more
