I'm actually really disappointed in this product. First, it didn't come with any screws. Second, it is totally the wrong size. It was supposed to be a 1" opening, but it is actually a 2" opening. This means the rod I already had won't fit (the whole reason I bought this was because I already had a perfect rod that needed something to hold it up). I guess I will figure out how to make it work, but I'm really not happy with it. I don't want the hassle of returning it either. ... show more

We were having a problem with figuring out a long wall curtain hanging system that wasn’t going to pull the curtain rod brackets out of the wall since the curtains were so heavy. All of the brackets and curtain rod hanging systems were so expensive to be able to support a heavy curtains and heavy rods. Nothing was holding in our drywall, not with T brackets or drywall screws and we couldn’t use a stud in every single bracket. Even the ones that were in studs were pulling out. So we decided to use a bracket that dropped down from the ceiling. My husband and I came up with using electrical bronze piping from home depot with these holders and it’s been great!!! . But we needed something sturdy to hold the piping with a snug fit. I saw a Pinterest idea and looked for these type of hangers. The holder is all one piece, so we had to line it up exactly to get it to fit, But it worked out great. We’re probably going to do this along more of our windows in our house.
