This sound bar can get uncomfortably loud. When playing Dolby audio content, it's extremely loud at 50% volume. I'm legitimately afraid to put it past 75%. The subwoofer can shake the entire room. I'm too afraid to do it, but I guarantee if you put the subwoofer and soundbar at MAX your eyeballs may vibrate out of your head. Legally this kit should probably come with a warning label. As far as clarity goes, there's 3 dialogue clarity options. Low, med, high. No matter how loud you push the soundbar, you will be able to understand what's being said. I didn't notice any drop in performance while using the dialogue options. The set up is easy. You gotta use the HEOS app. The app doubles as a remote, but a physical remote is also included. You can adjust treble and bass in the app. There's 6 quick save macros. The remote is sleak and IR compatible. It has several physical buttons for changing input, power, Bluetooth, dialogue and 3 preset EQs; music, night and movie. The soundbar is also ir compatible with your TV remote so you can control volume with 1 remote. You can also control volume with your phones volume rockers in the app. What I really love is the visible dots on the front of the soundbar that light up or dim when changing not just volume, but all settings. Really love that they did this. I did a lot of research on other soundbars. I was using a Sonos Beam that I'm going to return. I'm going to say the sound quality of the bar alone is equivilant to the beam, maybe better becuase of all the advanced options. I would highly recommend this product. *6 month update* Still performing spectacularly. Paired it with an LG CX. Now, I was having some audio issues using eArc, but after extensive testing I can't tell if it was the TV or this sound bar. Regardless, the issues have ceased after a few TV updates. Speaking of, the soundbar only updates via the HEOS app, so make sure you open it once in a while. For my audiophiles that believe atmos and 7.1 can't be done properly with a rinky dink soundbar, I suggest you reconsider. Now admittedly I've never experienced a $5000 complex audio set up, but I am picky when it comes to quality electronics, and I'm tellin you this gives intricate set ups a run for their money.     • Price was reasonable, but the speaker is difficult to sync and operate
The speaker has great sound and was reasonable priced. Our biggest dilemna was that the speaker doesn't seem to always sync appropriately to our TV. There are times that the system won't even turn on and it's very frustrating. We were on the verge of returning when it started to seem like it was syncing better. There is usually a 2-3 second delay when starting a new show, but if you can get past that then this system is probably for you. The only other complaint is that the sound is not adaptive to each program - for example our TV auto adjusts sound based on different programs so that sound remains even (not loud, quiet, loud, quiet). This system does not do that - - so there are times we turn it up for one program and then when we start a new program we almost blow our ear drums out because it is so loud. Maybe these are just user errors, but unfortunately the system just hasn't worked like we would have liked. It's still good, but these are just a few of the glitches we've experienced so far. ... show more

I’ve had it for about a year now and I must say sound quality is extraordinary for such a small footprint. Listen to the intro to top gun Maverick on this thing. The room literally explodes with three dimensional sound in Dolby Atmos. I kid you not. that being said, devices like this are highly dependent on the source content, the codecs and the quality of the person doing the mixing. The Walking Dead on the other hand is unlistenable on the Sound Bar. The dialogue mix is so bad I always flip back to the built-in speakers on my Samsung Q 65. What I’m saying is, it’s not a magic bullet, but when the source content is right and sounding good, it will sound absolutely amazing on this sound bar. I wish it wasn’t Bluetooth and it loses its connection sometimes although never while playing back. It’s a solid piece of kit and it’s worth the money. ... show more

Easy setup and the sound is much better than the Roku sound bar or Sony bars. Dolby and DTS sound are wonderfully full.
