Had to rebuild the deck on my cub cadet rzt 50. Poor mower was used and abused before I got it. Definitely a must have for new or old decks. Should get several more years of service out my deck now.

These rings are the bomb for Cub Cadet mower decks. All stamped steel decks are the weakest point on all riding mowers. Most of the Chassis and Engines will outlast stamped decks 3 to 1. I installed these rings. They greatly stiffened up the deck and spindles. I recommend these to all Cub Cadet owners. They would be a great idea to install on a new mower Deck. You must straighten out the deck if bent BEFORE installing these rings. They will not fix bent decks. They WILL hold in place straight mower decks. Get them, you will thank me next Summer. ... show more

I hit an iron pipe while cutting in high grass an ripped the spindle out of the bolt holes and I put one of these plates over it and bolted the spindle back on and it cut good as new I love these plates I'm so glad I found them

Works perfect for sandwiching the broken deck between 2 reenforcing plates. However the bolts are soft and too short. One plate isn't enough for the damaged spindle hole.
