This sprayer is much better than the last 3 I've had from the standpoint of weight, pump engineering and construction quality. With the various adapter nozzles provided, you can handle any job that comes your way. The only shortcoming I found was that it lacked the usual Hose/Nozzle holder. I like to wash my car once per week, but I live in an apartment with no access to a hose. So, pump sprayers are the next best thing. I had previously purchased a similar product on Amazon that was top-rated, but it failed on me after two months of using it once per week. I knew that for my next sprayer, it needed to have a foaming attachment for soap as well as a larger reservoir. I initially chose this sprayer because it was the least expensive non-hand sprayer that had a foaming attachment, so I ordered two (one for soap and one for plain water.) I am pleasantly surprised by this product. It is no more expensive than my old sprayer, but is made out of much higher quality plastics. It came with four attachments (adjustable, two fans, and foam.) The manual says there should be three fan attachments, but both of my sprayers lacked the third, lowest-flow-rate attachment. With a half gallon of fluid in the reservoir (about 1/4 full), it took about 80 pumps to bring the sprayer up to a satisfactory pressure. However, if you do pump it up properly, it has some great power and flow to it for a pump sprayer. Much better than my previous one. It'll blast old bird droppings off my car with relative ease and rinsing isn't the time consuming task it once was. The foaming attachment was what I was most interested in and I'm happy with the result. It can't match a true foam cannon, of course, but I wasn't expecting it to. Once again, having enough pressure in the sprayer is key to getting the best foam production. Once I dialed in the best soap:water ratio and got the thing fully pumped, I was able to get a solid layer of foam on the car. I'll report back if I encounter any failures, but at this point I feel pretty good about the product quality. ... show more

    • A One Season Sprayer

I purchased this sprayer one year ago (May20' to May21'). I used it as soon as I received it and a few more times over that summer. Worked as expected. Come season end and I give it a rinse out and wash down and left it in the sun to dry completely for two days. I give it a good shake and no water comes out from anywhere....All Good?? I thought so. I put it out in my garage (Detached) and said a winters good night to it. Come this morning (May 11,2021) I take it out of the garage and fill it up with my favorite cleaner to begin washing down my Composite deck and low and behold it will not completely pressurize and to make thing worst the cleaning solution was pumping up through and around the metal rod used to pressurize the tank, which I needed to deal with like RIGHT NOW. This MIGHT be a great sprayer that lasts years if you keep it in your house when not spraying chemicals around the property.....BUT I didn't and somehow the cold weather must have gotten to it and broke it. Luckily I had a Back-Up "ROUND UP" Brand Sprayer right next to it in the garage (six years old) and I fired that bad boy up and it saved the day, So, That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I Paid 35 bucks for this and it lasted one season......I paid 25 bucks for the other sprayer and IT'S still working.....either keep this Nasty (Chemically)Yard sprayer inside your home when not using it.....or......Take a pass on this ONE SEASON SPRAYER. ... show more

I have had this sprayer for a couple of months and have used it several times. I ordered this sprayer so I could keep weed control and pest control in their own containers and avoid the possibility of mixing chemicals. I found this sprayer and was satisfied with the price and the capacity (2 Gallon). So I decided to make a purchase. I am unsure if I misread the description and missed information or if it was not included in the information but I was pleasantly surprised when my sprayer arrived and I found it to have several different spray nozzles including a foaming nozzle. There are different widths of “v” angled (or fan spray) tips to help you coat different sized areas more effectively. There is also the foaming spray nozzle (which I have not tried) and then of course a standard straight stream nozzle. This sprayer does feature a pressure release value which not all small sprayers do. This makes it much easier and safer to release the pressure on this unit when you are finished than having to unscrew the hose or pump where you may run the risk of damaging the ring seal or getting the contents of your sprayer on your skin or clothing. This sprayer does require you to place it on the ground and pump from the carry handle but it is simple to do and the process for locking and unlocking the handle is very easy. There is plenty of slack in the hose and assembly of the unit is simple. This sprayer has a great capacity and function for its price. I have been very satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend. ... show more

I bought this sprayer to use for spraying pesticide around the outside of my home. My previous sprayer broke so I needed to find a new one for this year. I've used it once so far. If you don't get everything in it's place and tighten it up well you lose pressure quick. So just make sure to follow the directions and play around with it a little using just water at first so you don't make a mess with whatever you're intending to actually use. I made sure of this, especially since I was using pesticide. Test run first. So far it gets the job done. I like the different nozzles it comes with. Great for different areas you might need to spray. Very simple to use. I just wish it had a more powerful pressure so it would spray a little farther, or higher up for the areas I need to reach. ... show more

Interchangeable nozzles don’t work. Two that were supposed to fan spray, just sprayed two solid streams on both sides. Worthless. The adjustable nozzle sprayed somewhat evenly but more like spatters. Disappointed in Smith for making junk. They used to be the best.
