  • Works great
Size Name: 52cc+2 bit(6“10”)
Saw a video on YouTube for this auger and it looked good so I decided to try it out. As advertised it gets the job done easily. 52cc seems to be plenty of power and has no trouble running the included 10 inch bit. Great tool

  • Great Value Auger
Size Name: 52cc+2 bit(6“10”)
I've augered about 60 holes in the past year with this auger and it's still running great and starts just as easy as the first time. Bought the extension kit and augered each of those holes a 2nd time to get down past 3 feet. The value of owning this auger by not having to rent one each time and make 2 round trips to the rental store each time for pickup/return has made it a great purchase! ... show more

  • Great Auger for the money.
Size Name: 52cc+3 bit(4"6"8")+3 Ext(8"12"20")
This Auger did a very good job. We utilized the 8in attachment and were very pleased. It came in 2 separate boxes as the seller said. Instead of mixing at 35, I bought the premixed 40 and it works fine. Easy start and plenty of power. Would be nice to have a reverse on this but that’s something for a higher priced unit. Overall very happy so far. Easy job with 2 people. ... show more

Love this auger starts on first pull . Digs nice smooth deep holes . No problem on power and drill blades nice sharp . Easy to handle because of light weight. Doesn't take much space when take it apart. You can rent it to friends get your money back . Five stars here

  • amateur and light duty usage intended .
Size Name: 52cc+3 bit(6"10"12")+3 Ext(8"12"20")
Alright so this product isn't bad it's reasonably price and works decently. My only concern is that that rubber left hand handle was not properly bonded to the handle and slid right off during use. I gorilla glued it on there, not a big issue. The other issue is the right hand plastic control grip, it's pretty flimsy. Now I'm not sure I'm being fair on judging it because like I said in the title it's probably great for most applications. However, I'm putting in a fence with 42" post holes, 34" is clay. The control handle has pulled apart twice and it pull the internal pin of the orange safety button, on the top side, out of it's proper alignment. Had to take it apart both times, not a huge deal but it's a time sink. Other than that it runs decently enough. I had to switch down to the 6" bit instead of the 10" because the clay, even water saturated, was stalling it out. Overall, it's a decent product and again I recommend it for light duty work (looser soil types) . ... show more

  • 52 cc motor is perfect
Size Name: 52cc+4 bit(4"6"8"12")+3 Ext(8"12"20")
So far, I have used the 6 inch and 8 inch bits that came with the unit. I have not used the 12 inch bit. Both bits held up well in the heavy clay cedar rooted ground. Probably have dug 30 holes with absolutely no problem. The 52 cc motor is perfect for one person and is more than adequate. Seems to use very little fuel. This unit replaced the unit I had purchased from Harbor Freight. It's every bit as good, was cheaper and came with additional auger bits. I recommend this unit. ... show more

  • Wow!
Size Name: 52cc+2 bit(6"10")+3 Ext(8"12"20")
This thing is now getting cheaper than when i bought it! I used my dad's HF auger and decided I needed one! This doesn't have the power or heavier duty bits that dad's does, but it does fine in our sand and light clay. The fuel mix ratio is very odd. It starts easy, every time. The HF auger bits would cut roots. This won't. If you're digging anywhere with even finger sized roots, run barely above idle. Why? Because when it grabs a root, the bit stops and the powerhead spins. It will twist your arms like a pretzel, faster than you can let go or jump off the ground. I literally thought it ripped my forearm muscles. I was sore for days. I use a Sawzall to cut the roots I hit, then keep digging. I'm about 1/3 done with a 500+ foot fence, no hiccups. The extensions will be nice when I get down near the creek and need to dig 4 feet. Try that with manual post hole diggers. The HF auger didn't have extensions either. As long as I don't have the starting issues others complained about, I call this a win! Buy it! ... show more

  • Almost 5 Starts
Size Name: 52cc+2 bit(6“10”)
So I did a ton of research before buying this auger, checked reviews etc. First time starting up the auger the choke lever broke clean off. It is 100% plastic and I encourage the manufacturer to change that. We had to use a flathead screwdriver to engage the choke function to use. The unit did fire right up and we successfully dug 8 post holes with the 10 inch and 2 with the 6 inch blade. The unit ran very well while auging, even when hitting a rock. Overall the unit is great, I wish it had come with a small 2.6 ounce of oil but we used our chainsaw oil mixed with gas. If you have never used an auger before I implore you to test the small blade first. The kick back on an auger can be dangerous if the blade gets jammed on a rock or root! FYI we have 76 more post holes to dig so I will update this as we go! ... show more
