Purchased this for an '07 Wrangler JKU a couple months ago. If you're reading this and on the fence whether to pull the trigger on this one, just do it. No running issues at all, and lined up perfect with the factory mount. Total time to remove old and install new was 15 mins max. I initially had some reservations about there not being many reviews on this particular one for the 3.8 motor, but there were tons of good reviews for the older Jeep 4.0 version. It's already lasted longer than it's parts store predecessor that cost more, was a nightmare fit, and left my wife stranded requiring a tow home. Yes, the parts store one had a lifetime warranty. I don't really want to replace an alt every couple months even if the replacement is 'free'. The parts stores rebuilt ones aren't fully rebuilt. They ship them out, replace just the defective part and put them back on the shelf. This is a truly brand new, quality part. ... show more

Easy install, everything fits and works fine. Edit: Only after a handful of local trips my battery light is coming on and battery is going dead. The noisy alternator I replaced didn't even cause these issues, I only replaced it because it was a matter of time with noisy bearings. Contacted seller by phone with no response back. Just sent an email, I will re-evaluate rating pending their response. Edit: Customer service is non-existant. they sent out a bad product and now they don't return calls or emails.
