  • switch works
Daystar JK Panel: Fits snug, just right. Automatic transmission. Color matches as well. The stamped places for cut outs are easy to excise. INSTALL TIP -> I needed to use a chainsaw file to smooth out the edges/burs of the switch holes for a very clean fit. Would be five stars if came with its own set of clips. Switches: They toggle corectly, simple, straightforward, rated high enough to hard wire my accesories through them without a relay. The lighted part of the switch works correctly. My $0.02 is to mount the switches with the lighted side down, as the lighted switch can be bright at night. Bottomline after 6 months of use- I would purchase this again, and I am happy with the panel/switches. edit- after 2 years all switches working perfectly, no problems ... show more

  • To fit on a 2011 Lancer,
This "fits" into any of the 3 switch holes to the lower left of the steering wheel of a 2011 Lancer. However, the holes in the plastic panel piece will need to be shaved away on the sides until they fit. Once in, there is a ledge that covers up the cut marks on the panel, so no fear of horrible cutting work showing. It's too bad they aren't just a tad narrower, then no modifications would be needed. I am unsure about any other vehicle, but they work well in a 2011 Lancer and any other Lancer with the same setup. The light is bright enough to illuminate about a square foot around it on the dash and door. This may be TOO bright really, but I appreciate more lights since I have a hard time seeing at night anyway. When the switch is off, the light is off. When it is on, the light is on. The prongs on the back can hold size 16-14 electrical quick clips or whatever they are called. On the top and bottom are flexible ridged blades designed to hold the switch in once its pushed into a snug fitting. I power 2 of these on either side of the Lancer traction control switch, both powered from a tie in on the heated seat fuse and go out to 2 sets of LED's, a backup camera, and a 7 inch screen. No problems. ... show more

  • Quality switch.
This Daystar switch is built on a Carling Switch body (type V1DA). Its internal construction appears to confirm this. I'm not sure if the switch rocker is a Carling Contura II brand part, but appears to be. It is NOT an LED type. The incandescent bulb draws 74mA at 12V. The contact resistance shows less than 0.01 Ohms on my Fluke 189. I will be buying more of these. ... show more

It looks great and lights up like the sun. Well built and looks fanstastic. However, if you have a wrangler from 03-06 (there isn't an ashtray next to the auxiliary outlets) it wont fit because it sits too far back into the dash and there is a little overhang that prevents it from fitting there. I ended up trying to trim it down, which required me to cut the top of the switch all the way down to where the light should be shining through for it to fit. It works but looks messy. So I'm ordering a new one and cutting out a place for it on the blank panel next to the switches ... show more

  • nice switch
I purchased this switch to work in conjunction with an LED light bar I installed on under the ROPS of my zero turn mower. It comes with an easy to follow wiring diagram and was easy to install. I used the package insert/wiring diagram as a template to cut the hole on the mower next to the other gauges and switches. The switch has small "tabs" on each side that compress/expand when passed through the hole so be sure to cut too small at first. You can always cut more. The amber color is true. It matches the orange on my Kubota nicely. ... show more

  • Sent a used switch.
Obvious returned item. Package cardboard was broken, switch has dust on it like it had been installed and removed. If it works, I will use it, but I can get used parts for a lot less. Last switch I'll buy from these guys.

  • 03 4Runner Center Console
I used two of these swtiches to fill the knockout slots located in the center console of my 4Runner. I use one to control the iSimple IS31 Universal Auxiliary Audio Input I installed and the other to control power to the radar detector I hard wired in. Both work flawlessy and look great. I pulled the 12 Volts right off the lighter socket and used a ground located in the console as well. As others have stated the slots had to be modified. I used a dremel tool and went to town on the the console and shaved away the ridge inside the solts, 5 mins worth of work. Great buy! ... show more
