    • Best value considering
This is my honest opinion on this, as well as, other similar hydroponic systems. There is no comparison to growing in soil or even growing hydroponics using the Katky method. I was able to germinate and grow plants but no where near the size of growing plants in soil or Katky or DWC. This hydroponic systems seems strictly best suited for growing herbs maybe even small leaf lettuce like Tom Thumb. I do like the Daxiga because the light extends a nice distance and the water bowl can be separated from the base for cleaning and maintenance. These best feature of all, and is the main reason I choose this hydroponics systems over others , is the water pump is easily replaceable. The most like item to fail on this unit is the water pump. A $15 replacement pump is sold almost anywhere aquarium gear is sold. I'm pretty happy with the system. I sit it on a tv tray stand in the corner. The lights light up the area and give off a nice comfort light. Currently, I'm trying to germinate and grow alpine strawberries. Not having much luck, but they will be well suited for this machine when they do germinate and grow. ... show more

    • you will need to ad a $10 aerator pump
have used two for almost a year with good results - the new price is 1/3 of the old price I paid so I jumped on a third unit - the pump is very inadequate but the light height works great - most of the poor reviews are the result of operator error and the directions are actually good

Instructions not good. Had to find the video of the setup to find out how to assemble pump, use covers, and find proper amount of water to use. But there is a good app for control of unit and it appears to be well made. Only in use for 3 days but hoping for great results in a week or two after germination. Had a $30 coupon which helped with pricing. ... show more

Product is underwhelming. Light has a plastic cover that dulls the LEDs. Pump does not pump water to the top of the pod like similar models. The pump is just a very very weak pump that circulates the water. So weak it appears to only circulate half of the units waters. Pump is right below 3 pods so if you roots get too long they will be pulled into pump. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So far looks good and really happy with light panel height (is actually 30 1/2”) but wondering if the wattage and width of light panel and the pump are strong enough for high growing plants , will definitely update Sending back due to internet virus thru app
