  • Feels Stable, Good Quality
Color: Ebony
A little backstory: my husband and I had wanted to plan on doing a Montessori floor bed for our son when he was ready to transition to his own room, but realized that, for us, this may not happen for quite some time (and by that point we may just go straight to toddler bed). Our 11 week old son had recently outgrown his smaller bassinet, and in this transition has been sleeping in the bassinet insert in a pack n play in our room- but now that he is more active and wiggling and kicking all the time, the pack n play bassinet just does not feel stable (plus the “mattress” is really just more of a board which I can’t imagine would be comfy for sleeping). Just received the crib yesterday, and my husband set it up last night in our bedroom (our son will sleep in our room until at least 6 months, if not longer). As far as I know, it was relatively easy and straightforward to set up, although the longer front and back pieces weren’t labeled up from down so my husband just had to flip it around at one point to get all the edges along the top flush. Obviously have not had this crib long enough to comment on durability, but it feels extremely stable (which was my main worry when ordering a crib that was under $100). It does not wiggle at all, and all of the joints are completely tight together. I was worried about the hardware not being hidden like some of the more expensive crib models, but the ebony color we ordered came with dark charcoal/black hardware so it barely shows at all. Not sure that would have been the case with the hardware that comes with the other color options. We have the Newton Baby crib mattress (also highly recommend!) and it fits so perfectly in this crib- so snug down in the frame there’s not even a hair of space between the mattress and the slats. I didn’t really check the height of the crib before ordering, so was a little surprised with how low it seems overall- but I actually prefer that, since our son’s nursery is pretty small I think it will feel more size-appropriate for the space once we move it in there. Will update in the future if this changes, but so far, very happy we took the chance on this very affordable, cute little crib! ... show more

  • Great product
Color: Grey
I bought this for my son who is 7 months old now. It's a great product, holds up well and does as it's intended. Easy to assemble. Strong quality bolts etc. I think the only thing I was bummed about is it doesn't include the bed guard attachment for when you transition baby to a toddler bed. You have to buy that separately and they are not always in stock. Other cribs I've bought over the years always had that piece included. It's a small inconvenience and not the end of the world. The piece costs about $30 USD if I remember correctly. Something to keep in mind if you are wanting a crib with this attachment piece already. I will say it is a beautiful crib though. I like the color we bought, ours is gray. Fits a typical crib mattress very well without leaving little gaps as some cribs from othet makers can do. ... show more

  • Product is on point for the price!
Color: Grey
It's not the perfect ultimate crib and the very best of all time, but for the price, it is amazing! You really couldn't ask for more for a crib that costs just over $100. It was extremely easy to put together, took about 30 minutes. And I absolutely LOVE the grey color! It's a little darker than the picture, but is exactly what I wanted. The paint holds up pretty good. My husbands belt has scratched it some when he leans over to pick up or lay down baby (pictured below), but the scratches don't stand out too much. The crib seems very solid. My 3yr old has climbed in and out several times (when mommy wasn't watching) and it's withstood it just fine. It's also taken the kicking and jumping of a not so happy 1 year old and done well. From the top of the mattress to the top of the railing is 21 inches (when crib is set to lowest mattress level). This is a little lower than I would prefer. I suspect we might have climbing out issues when my son gets to be around 2 years old, but for now he's never tried (and at that point we will convert it to a toddler bed). I included a picture with my 1.5yr old so you can see how tall a little one looks in reference. There is about 2.25 inches between the bars and the crib is 5.5 inches off the ground. I am 5' 3" and the height of everything is perfect for me to be able to comfortably pick up and lay down my baby. I am really happy with this purchase and expect this crib to easily last through more than a couple children. ... show more

  • Cute, functional, and at a great price.
Color: Grey
I purchased two of these cribs at once, which (I think) gives me a solid basis for review. They're fairly easy to put together, I was able to put them both together myself without bothering my husband for help. One of the cribs had a side panel that didn't quite align properly with the longer panel. The side panel comes up about 1/4 inch higher than the long panel. It's not earth shattering, and it isn't hurting anyone. I just put that corner against the wall and no one notices, except me of course! The other crib was aligned perfectly everywhere, but I can see how this would indicate potential for a quality control issue. The bolts are all exposed in a more visually obvious (not protruding) way than others that I've seen, but for the price of this crib, I think that's par for the course. Neither of the cribs were damaged or scuffed on arrival, so shipping was fine. I have two different crib mattresses and both of them fit very well in the cribs with no gap. One is a Naturpedic mattress and the other is a Graco foam mattress, in case you have either. I have our 6 week old nephew/foster baby and our 7 month old daughter sleeping in these cribs and they both seem to enjoy it. All in all, I'd say that these are great cribs for the price, and they will definitely get the job done. After 3 children, I've learned that a crib is the largest (MOST EXPENSIVE) teether you'll ever buy your baby, so I'm happy that I found 2 decent cribs at a decent price. We shelled out almost $900 on a crib about 4 years ago for my oldest son when he was born, and he chewed that thing up! We ended up spending another $120 on a bunch of different rubber rails and fleece ties to try and protect the crib from his chewing, and it ended up teaching us a pretty costly parenting lesson! ... show more
